I screamed before storming off. ~~~ "Hey Vikk! Ms. Moralin is letting Josh and I out to the field to play! Wanna join us?" My friend asked from the door way to my room. I flinched before turning away from my desk to face him. "Sorry Simon, can't today. Studying for an upcoming test, you know how important this is to me." I declined with an apologetic smile, closing my book on English law after bookmarking my page. "C'mon Vikk, it'll only be for a little bit, besides you're the smartest guy here." Simon whined a little thinking it would win me over, but it only caused me to sigh as I turned back to my desk. "Simon, I said no, can you just let me rea-" "All you do is read!" He yelled which actually shocked me, though his shaky breath gave away he didn't mean it. "Vikk... I'm sorry..." "It's okay." I smiled facing him again. "How about I join you guys when I finish this chapter and do my chores." He nodded wiping away guilty tears, I get up and give him a brief hug before we leave together.
