Why is turning 13 so important? Can someone please elaborate on this subject for me? Your one year closer to becoming a distressed slave of corporate America and always being ready to have a political argument on Facebook with sophisticated insults on hand.
Your officially a 'teenager', which is another thing I'm confused about. Who's to say your not a teenager until your 16? Why does everyone follow the same beliefs that society puts out and nothing else? Please enlighten me because obviously I'm am not nearly righteous enough to comprehend this extremely complex concept that is society and its rituals.
Non-immediate family members suddenly think that when your thirteen that you're going to morph into this blood thirsty seething beast that doesn't know how to 'pick their battles'. They warn your parents and they too become convinced that if you are ever in a good mood it should be something to applaud and earn praise and rewards from. Which is highly annoying.
Learned that anything can be special to anyone for any reason✌️
