Valentine

I had Robert Lightwood take down Jace Herondale's body to the cells below and disposed of the bodies of unlucky Circle members. We would plan a small honour ceremony later. I had formulated a plan earlier for what to do with the angel boy earlier with Clarissa. She was intelligent, I'll give her that.
I strolled downstairs, radiating anticipation and excitement. With a few quick strokes of my stele, the cell door opened and I crouched beside the Herondale. The corners of my lips tugged into a small grin as I burnt an agony rune onto his forearm. For a moment there was no response. His eyes snapped open. His pupils expanded, his whole golden eyes swallowed by blackness. He gave a strangled cry. My eyes glinted. How fun. He began to gasp for air, choking and gritting his teeth. His arm twitched and shook as he tried to reach the rune. He grabbed onto the burnt flesh and clawed at it, as if he were trying to tear it off. He slumped backwards against the stone wall as the effects of the rune wore off, panting.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I grinned, spinning on my heel and locking the cell door again.
