So long we walked

Start from the beginning

It was very hard not to think about it, and I kept distracting myself from the thoughts of his lips on mine but it wasn’t easy for me. Especially when I have wanted him to do that for quite some time. . .

There were so many questions that kept running in my head after I had to run home from his apartment. Why did he do that? Why he did he became so close after trying to ignore my feelings for so long? Was it because I had said I trust him? But only Oliver knew the answers, and he wasn’t the sort of person to get it straight. He liked making people run in circles.

I had confronted Rhodes about what Melissa did and my guess was true. It happened after the victory form the first round. Both Melissa and Brooke had found out our practice place and they vandalized, spraying things on it. They had managed to clean it all but Melissa also tried to steal the instruments. Lana was the one who caught and stopped them. Rhodes said that they wanted to tell Mr. Flynn right away but Lars stopped them (I think it had something to do with history between him and Brooke) and warned them off.

I was a little pissed that they didn’t told me about this, it wasn’t something small after all but he assured that there was no use in giving me trouble after I had mange to come out of the news of mom’s death. But I let the matter passed partially because I was confused about Oliver as well.

Things could have been much easier if Melissa and he weren’t in a same band, and she had witnessed us together as well. She had already gone too far because of her jealousy; God knew what she could try now.

‘’Did I tell you Violet, how good this skirt looks on you.’’

‘’A hundredth time already,’’ Lana muttered and I couldn’t help but agree with her. My attire was the usual and simple; in fact Stella looked much better than me. She was wearing a dark blue high collared dress and white cardigan on it. While I wore a hot pink tee shirt with a mini denim jacket, a blue denim skirt with my combat boots. He just flirted to tease me even when Stella was a much better option, but I also knew he was afraid of her. Last time he tried it didn’t end quite well.

‘’What are you jealous? I could have complimented you but half of the time you look like you came back from a funeral. Everyone except Rhodes laughed, even he looked like he was trying hard not to.

‘’Next time it could be a real one.’’ She replied him, not even fazed from the remark.

‘’But why black?’’ I heard Stella asked. When if first saw Lana I assumed she was one of those emo chick who hate the world and cut themselves to escape depression but fail miserably.  But after spending time with her I had come to a conclusion that she wasn’t the type of person who get depressed, but she cane make other depress.

‘’Cuz black looks badass,’’ was her reply and she sounded proud of it.

‘’Yeah but bad ass won’t get you laid anytime soon, you’ve got to have some charms or you’ll remain a virgin till the next lifetime. And the one after that.’’ I choked on my laughter feeling embarrassed at the same time,

‘’You should keep your views to your self Hale, not everyone’s mind lives in a gutter.’’ Rhodes spoke, giving him a disgusted look.

‘’I don’t think it’s wise to discuss each other’s um . . . personal life at this time.’’ I silently agreed with Stella because the next moment we came to a halt outside a building which was alive with hustle and bustle and there were a lot of cars parked outside it.

‘’Here we go,’’ We got out of the car in haste and I studied the building apprehensively,

‘’What is this actually?’’
