serial killer // im jaebum

He sighed irately, and slightly rolled his eyes.

"That is the name, please don't wear it out."

Then, Eunsook narrowed her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" She asked skeptically.

"Did Jaeun send you here?"

The transformation of her expression from suspicion to worry was astonishingly instantaneous, and she lunged for the boy.

"Did she mic you?" Eunsook asked worriedly, patting him down in the strangest places (under the armpits and in the enclosures of his knees, for example) in her search.

"Jaebum, I told you not to take that from her."

The boy let out a small laugh at her scolding nature.

"Sookie-ah," he grasped her hands softly as he spoke in an endearing tone, hoping to calm her nerves, but really only inciting a very sumptuous blush to spread across her cheeks.

"Do you remember anything you did last night?"

Did she? Eunsook wasn't really sure, so she thought about it for a while as bits and pieces came back to her.

She remembered going to Jaeun's house to celebrate... something, and then drinking wine, and acting a bit crazy like she always did when even the slightest drop of alcohol reached her tongue. And ㅡ

"No," she groaned in misery at the memory. "I did not do that."

Eunsook turned to Jaebum. "Please tell me I didn't."

An evil smirk was already playing upon his lips, and he nodded his head smugly.

Of courseㅡ of fucking course with her luck, the one day she decided to get drunk with her best friend would be the one day when her brother and the boy Eunsook liked (a lot) would be home too.

And, of course, she would have confessed her feelings like the bumbling idiot she was.

"Hey," he shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really blame you. I mean, how could you not want a piece of this?"

Eunsook's face was practically a tomato because of how red it was, and she violently smacked him in response to his childish remark.

"Ah," he mumbling, rubbing the spot she had hit.

"But... you know I didn't mean it, right?" Eunsook was perplexed.

"I mean, I was drunk, and you know how I say things I don't mean when I'm drunk... and you know, you're not even that hot! Like, if I wanted a boyfriend then I would have gone for someone much better looking than mediocre. And you know, what if I'm lesbian? I mean, if I had to choose between the Im siblings, you can bet your ass I would be with Jaeunㅡ"

While she was rambling, Jaebum slowly crept closer and closer to her than he already was, and once she noticed, she abruptly cut off her monologue.

The two of them were so close that Eunsook could feel the enjoyable feeling of his hot breath on her skin, and became more and more anxious.

"H-have you always had that birthmark above your left eye?" She asked nervously, trying to distract him.

She took small steps backwards in an attempt to widen the distance between them, but he matched her steps and she made no progress. They continued like that, until Eunsook's back hit the wall with a light thump.

"Hmm? Yeah," He muttered off-handedly, seeming distracted.

"You know what Sookie?" He asked a few seconds later, changing the topic.

"What?" She replied, her voice below a whisper.

"It would be a shame if you didn't like me."

His voice was... intense, and he spoke softly.

"Because I like you a lot."

And the next thing Eunsook knew, Jaebum's lips were pressed against hers. She wasn't expecting it at all, and was still preoccupied with mulling over what he had just told her. For a few seconds, she stared at him, unresponsive. But once she got over the initial shock, her eyelids slowly drifted shut and she began to kiss him back, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him even closer.

She titled her head to the side slightly, and Jaebum nudged her back, pinning her against the wall. His lips were soft, yet he was pushing them so harshly against Eunsook's that she couldn't really tell if they were chapped or not. They were so close to each other that she could make out he outline of his physique through the thin material of his shirt, and she could feel him smirking into the kiss.

For some reason, he tasted like... pancake batter? Eunsook didn't dwell on it, and just enjoyed the (very) pleasant experience, one she thought she would never have.

But, like any normal human, she did need to breath, and so she regretfully pulled away from Jaebum, and practically heaved to get air into her lungs.

"So," Jaebum asked, and Eunsook couldn't help but feel a bit jealous that he didn't even sound slightly breathless.

"How about some pancakes?"

There were a few seconds of silence as she tried to compose herself, but once she had, she gave him the stink eye.

"Im Jaebum. You know I hate pancakes!"
