Poem 18 - Safe

When I look at you from across the room,

I don't feel nervous or worried,

I don't feel like you would judge me,

I can let it out, all the feelings I berried,

You're not like the others,

And I know I've said that before,

But I know for a fact you won't hurt me,

I won't have to feel that pain anymore,

Thank you, even though you don't know,

Just letting me admire you from afar,

I feel safe knowing I've given my heart to the right person,

And knowing how extraordinary you are.
