Rhode has not seen Ryoma for about 6 years now. Finally, she was allowed to go to Japan to stay with him and his family. She is super excited to catch up with him after so long.
Ryoma only watched her on t.v. as she traveled a lot due to tournaments. For those 6 years, he watched his childhood friend who is his crush play tennis. He missed her dearly, but now since she is coming to live with him and his family he is overjoyed.
