I think I might actually have a 'crush' on Jake.. but I don't really know if I want to date him rn.
I walked to the youth center with him like normal, nothing changed between us we perfectly normal. But I could sense the little bit of awkwardness between us.
I walked into the youth venter and put my backpack on the hook like normal and went to the kitchen to sit down. I saw my friend Hazel, she is 2 grades older than me, I waved for her to sit by me so I could tell her what happened today.
"Hey Mia!"
"Hey Hazel, I have to tell you something!"
"What's up?" Hazel said with curiosity in her eyes.
I told her the story of today and she started smirking at me. I was about to say something until my phone vibrated. I saw a name on the little screen and it said 'new message from Jake'.
"Hey"
I looked at it wondering if I should reply. I decided to reply just to be nice but I was scared to see what was gonna happen the rest of the conversation.
