Women are known
For the most part to be
Nurturers
Kind
Fair
Caring
But what most overlook
Which comes with time
And experience is that
They, we, us
Are warriors in our very souls
Quiet strength of a woman
Is when hard choices
Sacrifices must be made
For those we hold dear
Because when it is all said and done
We have one soul
And we must keep it whole
Healthy
Free
To love, honor, and cherish
Ourselves first and foremost
And then with that
Ever flowing quiet power
Be role models
For those in our midst
There's no need to be loud
Obnoxious
Judgmental
Fearful
Stupid
Ignorant
Or mean
Those are all things
The soul has to purge
Because real power
Doesn't come from evil
But from serenity
Quiet strength of a woman
Focuses on lessons learned
Love
Energy
Light
And
Peace
From within
