The girls from Stanberg sang a rock retention of Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. While the performance was top notch and their vocalist's voice soared, I kind of started to see the fault in their 'fashion'. Those uniforms were a terrible idea to go with the song choice, and like Lana had predicated, it was going to take down their score.

The other bands went on. One of the guys did Greenday's Novocain and it was definitely my favorite performance so far. The group had three boys and two girls, and the lead singer had a killer voice – strong and high and overflowing with passion. All five of us looked at their stage with our eyes wide open and when they were done, we all clapped in sync.

''Wow, they are so good! How are they so good?!''

It was Melissa who answered me, and I realized I had said it out loud. Oliver's and ours were the only teams remaining now.

''That's Monty Khan, from Allgery Prep, you know that school behind the yacht club? He's popular, how could you not know him?'' She informed me, and I pretended I knew whatever she was talking about.

''I'm not supposed to know every school here, do I?'' I muttered under my breath, but I knew she heard me, her eyes flashed in my direction and she glared at me.

''No need to pick a fight, Violet.'' Brooke retorted, and Melissa scoffed.

Oliver's gaze slid towards me and he gave me a flat and tired look. I averted away my eyes and forced myself to look at the screen.

Eventually, it was their turn.

''The second last performers are group of versatile kids! Its time for ''Fly-Hi'' to take the stage. The MC called the name, surprising us. Stella gave me an alarmed look,

''Come to think of it, we are still team six...we don't have a name.''

Of course. We had been focused on picking the best song, making sure we all worked together perfectly well, that we hadn't even named ourselves. It wasn't a compulsory thing to do, but an identity would have helped us shine brighter.

''There will be time to name us later, lets focus on the stage for now.'' Rhodes was quick to subside our momentary panic and brought us back to our focal point. ''We can take our time with the name, it's not like we are a proper band.''

I looked at him, not liking those words. They made me uncomfortable...uneasy. Sure, we weren't permanent, we were just formed to fight in the contest. Maybe it was better than we were just team six, a name would create unnecessary attachment. But it still stung.

''They have a good stage presence, the best so far. Maybe its Oliver...his eyes are literally blazing.'' Stella remarked when 'Fly-Hi' started. They carried an air of confidence with them, even Indigo Brown, whom I had never penned as the type to play the bass like a professional. She was on fire.

''She's good, isn't she?'' Lars whispered in my ear, he was obviously talking about Indigo, ''it's a shame...I mean, that's my potential ex-girlfriend right there.''

He sighed dramatically, and I shook my head.

They had chosen a typical song; 'My heart will go on', a band retention of a classic soundtrack. At first when I recognized the notes and the lyrics, I thought it was a terrible idea. But Oliver and Melissa sang on, and the cheers from the crowd gathered suddenly became deafening. The song wasn't pleasant at the beginning, but it suddenly became much better, the vocalists were synchronized, and they kept looking at each other, smiling and flirting.

They had something that none of the other bands had so far...harmonization.

''They killed it'' It was Lana who said it, surprising all of us. But I knew she was right...they shone on their stage.
