Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl with a loving family.

She lived a life of peace and plea...
I can't hear his footsteps behind me so I turn my head and check—yep. He's still there. Why does he have to be so quiet? I shake my head and I walk down the stairs that lead to the main corridors. I head towards the common area and when I enter, I see everyone talking and figuring out different things.
I walk through the room as I head to where the flashlights are kept and say, "Lock down the base!" loud enough for everyone to hear.

Immediately people start exchanging looks and their expressions show worry. "Why?" Rogers asks me.
I look at him. "There's... Something is coming. Something evil. Something that none of us have ever seen or experienced before. And it's going to attack the base tonight. We need to be ready for it when it comes."
"What?" Steve looks confused.
"What is she talking about?" Banner asks.
"What do you mean 'going to attack'?" Tony asks.
"Loki," Thor growls and grabs his collar.

"You'll be happy to know that this time it's not me, brother," Loki spats.
"The Chitauri?" he still grips Loki.
"Far worse," Loki says with the same angry attitude.
"How do you know?" Clint challenges me. "Did you see something?"
I open my mouth then close it. I can't tell him how I know. I glance at Loki, "You could say that."
People exchange looks and Thor lets go of his brother. Loki doesn't look like anything he would say would help.
"So you didn't see anything?" Natasha asks.
