The REAL ME

2.1 - Debut's

"Ivette! I really cant wear this, I might be a party girl in states pero backless? No no no. I'm still a little bit of a dalagang filipina, ano ba?" I said as i pace back and forth.

And yup, nasa Pilipinas na kami. We've arrived last night, and today na yung debut which is a little bit of a hassle kasi ngayon lang namin nakita ang gown and nakipagpalit sakin si ivette because her gown was backless.

"Please Ate Chan! I really can't wear that. Kilala mo naman ako. Eto ngang sayo too revealing na with this sweetheart neckline tapos yan pa kaya na sweetheart na backless pa tapos hapit pa sa bewang." Ivette said hissing.

"Sige na! We're going to be late! Go put on your shoes na and wait for me sa baba. I'm just going to get my purse." I said going back to my hotel room.

Yup you read it right, Chan na ang tawag sakin, short for Chantal which is my second name.

I put on a little bit more of a red lipstick at inayos ko ang silver na gown na suot ko. I have never worn any gown this revealing my entire life pero mukha namang pag nakita nila to, they'll think I'm a change person which is tama naman. Because it's true, I've changed.

I put on my gray half mask, which covers my eyes and glance at the mirror once again.

Dwayne's POV

"Are you sure about this?" Tris said again.

Sa loob yata ng dalawang oras namin sa byahe eh, paulit ulit na nyang tinanong yan.

"Tris, can you please stop asking me the same question over and over again. Hindi ko na mabilang kung pang ilan na yang tanong simula nang nasa manila pa tayo!" I said hissing.

"Dude calm down. Hindi mo rin alam, we're all nervous not just you. We're gate crashi'n dude, for fuck sake." Drei said while removing his earphones.

"Who cares dude. Tsaka we got seats! We're not gonna go there without those! Tsaka natawagan ko si Aly, that's enough." I said to stop them.

Totoo naman na tinawagan ko si aly, one of Andrea's bestfriend. Para sabihin na ppnta kami because I have a plan, nung una hesitant sya but when she knew the plan pumayag rin naman sya.

"Sir papasok na po tayo ng resort."

But the truth? I dont have a fucking plan. I can't think of any because I'm preoccupied on the thought na makikita ko na ulit sya, after 3 f years.

As I feel my heart beat fast, I breathe normally,  but it wasn't enough to make it calm.

The theme of the party was silver, gray and black with a little shine of red in the tables's and ceiling. It was indeed a very formal evening.

As i roam my eyes around, napakahirap nyang mahanap, everyone was wearing masks. From full face to half mask.

"Dude. Did you see her already?" I asked Aldryn.

"Hindi pa nga dude eh. Kanina pa kami naghahanap." He said.

"Wait. Where is greg?" Tris asked.

Lahat kami nagpalingon lingon, but he's nowhere to be found to.

"Alright, stand up people. Dalawang tao na ang hahabapin natin." Drei said as we all got up from our seats.

Medyo kalat na yung mga tao dahil tapos na yung mga programs, mga nagbabatian ar nagkakamustahan na.

A waiter handed some champagne, kaya naman kumuha na rin ako.

This is stressing, finding a one particular person in a party with a huge crown, damn.

"There's Greg! Bakit sya nandun?" Ben said.

At dahil ako ang pinakamalpit kay Greg, ako agad ang nakalapit sa kanya.

"Dude, bakit ka ba umaalis. We're finding someone at mas mapapadali kung lahat tayo maghahanap." I said.

He looked at me and he removed his mask. And looked into his left kung nasan nandun ang family ng debutants.

Napatingin din ako dun, and i was shocked.

"I found her." Greg said.

She was stunning from her curly blonde brown hair in curls shoulder length, with a backless silver dress. Knowing her she wont wear this kind of things. People really changes.

Lumapit ako ng unti unti as crowds around her slowly dissapears, at nang sila na lang magkakaibigan ang magkakasama, I didnt hesitate anymore.

I grabbed her wrists and pulled her facing closely to me.

I froze as our eyes met.

"Dwayne"

I blinked when she called my name,

And as far as i know, a tear fell from my eyes.

"Hey sweetheart, welcome back." I whispered as I hug her tight.

"I miss you.."
