Chapter Five

I wake up, fix my messy hair and walk downstairs bare foot. I eat an apple then see pack members running around outside so I go out there to see Steve and Mason both shirtless, sweaty, and yelling at the warriors to speed it up.

My eyes can't help but roam Masons toned body, I get a weird feeling in my body as I look at him. He looks my way but before he does I look at the warriors and silently pray he didn't notice me staring.

My wolf, Lola, starts bugging me to let her out so I walk down onto the grass and to the two alphas remembering that I have to let them know when I will be going out on my own

"Steve, Mas" I say, they turn to me
"Morning Sarah" Steve says smiling, I smile
"Morning" I say
"Whats up?" Mason asks, I avoid looking in his eyes

"Um, I'm going for a quick run, Lola wants out" I say, Steve nods
"Okay, just don't go too far and mindlink us if anything strange happens okay?" He says, I nod then walk off towards the trees

"Alright Lola, enjoy but not too far" I tell her and then I start running into the trees and once I'm out of sight from everyone I shift into my beautiful brown with a touch of silver furred wolf. Lola runs, we enjoy the wind blowing our fur and the beautiful sounds of nature that fill our ears.

Lola takes us to the waterfall near by, I smile at the beautiful place, so peaceful and the perfect getaway place. I sigh as Lola just plays on the grass and chases things. Then we drink some water until we hear rustling in the trees.

"Who's there?" I openly mindlink so whatever is near can hear me, it stays silent, I get no response.
"We should go" I link Lola, she agrees and we start heading back to the pack house

Then I'm tackled, I get on all fours facing off with the vampire, its rouge. You can tell by the color of its eyes, their red. It hisses at me and I growl back, Lola shows our teeth at it.

"Rouge vampire" I mindlink Steve and Mason. The vampire smirks at me
"You cant take me on, so you mindlink your muts" He says, he has a british accent
"I can take you on, I don't need anyone to protect me" I link him as we start to circle each other

"I'm not here to fight or kill you, I'm here to pass a message. That the three packs wont stop us from getting you, you're of no value to us vampires but the fairies are giving us something in return for helping them so its a win win" He says

"Fairies? Why do they want me?" I ask, he looks at me furrowing his brows
"You still don't know?" He asks, Lola shakes our wolf head 'no' making him chuckle lightly shaking his head in disbelief

"Wow. Your so called parents should've been told you since the first attack" He says emphasizing 'been' and that confuses me
"What do you mean 'so called parents'?" I ask, he 'tisks' three times shaking his head

"Ask them that dear, like I said, all I am doing is passing a message. I can smell the muts nearing, so I must go but we will see each other again soon. Very soon beautiful" He says winking then vanishes in vampire speed.

A second later Mason and Steve appear with four other wolves
"You okay?" Mason links me
"Yeah, I just...I have to go talk to my parents" I say, then run off towards the pack house

"Mom, Dad. Meet me in the study, please" I mindlink them as I shift and change into sweats and a tshirt. They have a lot of explaining to do, I'm so confused.

A/N: Happy Thursdaaay!

I was writing and rewriting this chapter for three days already.

I finally liked how it came out even though I was writing and watching the Warriors game at the same time 😂
