I woke up late, it's like it's becoming tradition. School's today at 1 p.m. and it's already 12:38 p.m. I better be going, if I don't want to be late. I quickly got dressed up and left, kissing my mum on the cheek.

I ran to the school. Taylor was already there, with her group. Some of my friends, Emma, Lilly and Melanie were there, they don't have their classes now.

"You want to come with us to the football stands?" they asked me

"yeah, I don't want to go to Maths anyway." I said

We went to our school football pitch. The football team were having their training.

We sat on the stands watching those guys running over a football? What's so interesting about that?

I lit the cigarette along with the girls. The sun shines bright, which is a very surprising thing

"Where's Mike?" Emma asked me

The saddest thing is that Emma is in love with Mike, and he is chasing my sister. What an idiot.

"In the Maths class. You know that's his fav-" I tried to finish my sentence but I found myself staring at one of the football guys. He was watching me after he stopped running. He was quite tall, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that I couldn't see properly.

He was still staring at me as I inhaled another smoke. He looked away once his coach warned him to continue training. I moved my head ignoring. Why am I even looking?

"Are you okay?" Melanie asked

"Yeah, I blacked out for a minute, sorry" I said

"Anyway, you will be at the party this Friday yeah?" Melanie asked

"What party? Where?" I ask

"At your house? Your sister is organizing it" Emma mentioned

"I hate her" I said and shook my head

"Well, stay there. We'll come as well." Emma said and inhaled a smoke

"Yeah, sure." I said

"Speaking of the devil..." Lilly said pointing at Taylor walking towards me

"Oi! Go to your class! Last thing I want is for mum to find out you're skipping classes then she'll blame me because I should be looking after you." She said

"She doesn't know how to punish us..." I state a fact

And it's true. Our parents have always had very interesting / weird technique of raising us. Basically if you punish your kids they're off to a 'rebel spree' causing problems. Or if you don't have friendly connection to them they'll hate their home or something ridiculous like that. And I love that friendly connection to be honest.

"Just go already." She said

I roll my eyes and stood up, letting out a smoke from my mouth on her face, she coughed and I left.

"Such a pain in the ass... bye" I say to my friends and they shake their head laughing. I was going back to the school with a feeling someone is staring at me. I ignore it, and went inside the school. I can't show up in the middle of the class, so I sneaked in the girl's restroom and sat on the floor, drawing so time skips fast. I'm really good at drawing, so that's probably the only thing I'm good at.

After about 20 minutes I went to the hallway once I heard the bell. I have history class now, ugh. I hate history.

Mike found me in the hallway.

"Anna! Where have you been? I thought you'd show up to the Math class" he said walking alongside me to the history classroom.

"Sorry, I couldn't be bothered for that class." I say

"Tell me next time please, I was worried." he says looking a bit angry

"You don't have to be worried. It's not a big deal." I say clearly adding fuels to flames.

"Yes it is! Let's just go to the history class." he says and I follow him pissed off.

He can be so annoying sometimes acting like an overprotective brother.
