Time selects the brave clearly,

Brave selects his weapon surely,

With eye on objective specifically,

Achieves his aim ultimately.

When revenge is the aim actually,

Intelligence is shamed certainly,

Life is priceless undoubtedly,

Life's objective revenge not be.

One cannot control life certainly,

Seasons not in one's hand does be,

Earth is an examination hall only,

Give your exam - leave care-free.

Crying over drawbacks - life's aim not be,

Time is like a river – flowing unceasingly,

Body is like a boat - bobbing unsteady,

Soul, a traveler, its aim shore seeking be.

Remove your attachments, ego fully,

Rid self of lust, anger, greed doggedly,

Move to 'atma' 'parmatma' from body,

Then you will strive towards divinity.

Between birth and death clearly,

A life of action and deed does be,

If action and deed are good truly,

The life ever worthwhile living be.

Never but fear while acting truly,

For the soul is but eternal surely,

This body of the five elements be,

And will turn back to them finally.

Air, water, fire, earth, space clearly,

Universe made of these elements be,

All must return from their source finally,

As the life forms and the human body.

Per thought, action, deed clearly,

Person gets what deserving be,

There is but one life saver only,

He the far-sighted Lord does be.
