Don't laugh, but I was really bored and thought I could fill in a little more before I post in a few weeks.
Annette has passed away. Since Kya wasn't very close to her, the grieving period was short.
Leia and Han are both very busy, which makes it difficult to be full time parents. As a result, Ben is often left with Chewie and develops a close relationship with him.
Luke and Kya were forced to move locations, unfortunately to another planet, due to the large size of students. Mira is the only one to have become a Jedi. The rest are still learning, since Luke is a rather inexperienced teacher.
Luke and Kya come to Endor to visit their family. While they are there, Leia tells them Ben will be going with them to train with Luke. She has not yet told her son.
That will be about where the story picks up. If I have forgotten something I will post another update.
