What's beauty?
Me moth flies to every light
In sight.
And without any feeling
I draw nearer.
Far too late, I realize
The high prize
Of getting close to
What seems so irresistibly appealing.
Fatal injuries are already burning my skin
As my eyes are open for the cruel truth:
True beauty has its source in our soul –
Any other' s foul.
No matter, how it's shining in the dark:
It's dull
As long as it's not comin' from the heart.
