"My mommy told me if I was goody that she would buy me a rubber dolly. So don't you tell her I kissed a feller, or.."

"She won't buy me that rubber dolly." Bucky added. The woman turned around to face us. Bucky slowly walked over to her. "Hi, Becca. It's me, Bucky, your brother." The old woman couldn't believe her eyes.

"Bucky?" She said quietly, still staring at Bucky's face. He nodded his head, tears now falling from his eyes. She opened her arms for him to give her a hug, and he did. They both sat/stood there clutching each other for several minutes, crying and whispering things to each other. When they finally released each other from the hug, they were both smiling. Rebecca glanced over at the rest of us. "Who came with you?"

"Well, you know Steve and (Y/N) already, that is Natasha, a good friend of mine, and the little guy is James Steven Barnes, my son. Do you want to hold him?" Rebecca nodded her head but then decided against it.

"My arms aren't what they used to be. I'd be too afraid that I'd drop him. (Y/N), could you bring him over so I can see him?" You smiled and brought him over. "Oh, it's he the most precious thing! He's got Bucky's eyes."

"It's great to see you again, Becca." You said.

"And the same goes for seeing you." Rebecca smiled at you and James.

You all spent the rest of the hour talking about the old days. Bucky explained to Rebecca about his metal arm, and Rebecca told all of you about the family that she had.

"So you had 4 kids?" asked Bucky.

"Yup. Robert, Savannah, Quinn, and Jennifer. I had a fifth, Elena, but she died while a baby."

"I'm sorry for your loss, Becca." you said placing your hand on her wrinkled one. She gave you a small smile.

"I've learned to live with the loss. I still have the other four, and now I have my brother back. What more could I ask for?" Just then a nurse came into the room.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Sawyer. Your guests will have to leave now." You all left the room while Bucky stayed behind a moment longer to talk to Rebecca.

"I'll come back here to visit you as much as I can, ok, Becky?" She laughed, not having been called that nickname for more than 70 years.

"Ok, Bucky Boo." Bucky grinned at her and kissed the top of her head. As he started to leave the room to meet up with the rest of you when he heard Rebecca call to him. "Hey, Bucky. Happy birthday, big brother." He grinned at her again.

"Thanks."

After leaving the nursing home, you all headed to dinner at The Last Leaf, a restaurant that Natasha had told you all about. You rode with Natasha and James to the restaurant so that you could hear more about what had happened with James that day. Little did you know that Bucky and Steve were planning out a surprise for you.

After dinner, which, as Natasha told you it would be, was fantastic, you, Steve, James, and Bucky headed back to the apartment. When you arrived at the apartment, Steve dropped you three off. Bucky said that you and James could head up because he wanted to talk to Steve for another minute.

While you were getting James ready for bed, you heard Bucky come into the apartment.

"Hey, doll. When you finish getting James ready, come out here. I've got a surprise for you." You felt a little puzzled. It was Bucky's birthday. Why did he have a surprise for you? You soon finished getting James ready and lay James in his crib.

When you walked into the kitchen, you saw pictures on the table. All of them were black and white drawings of a little boy. Bucky walked over to you from where he had been making coffee.
