-Well, I feel like a piece of crap. I watched The Martian again and didn't sleep well. For some reason I kept dreaming that I was on the crew of Ares 3 and had to get Watney home. I thought I was going to throw up after feeling the way I did. I kept waking up and worrying about the odds of Watney surviving. Anyway, since I can't sleep, I decided to update. Love y'all! -

So remember how happy Bucky was when James said his first words? Well, he soon got slightly fed up with the almost constant repetition of "Buck Buck." It was starting to drive him insane. Every time that James wanted to get Buck's attention, he would repeat the phrase over again. Bucky had tried to just ignore James, but you immediately told him that he wasn't allowed to ignore his son. Be begrudgingly went over to James who wanted to play with him.

"Buck, it's just a phase! He doesn't know how to say anything else! You were probably the same way when you were his age." You stopped talking and thought for a minute.

"What?" Said Bucky handing James a wooden block.

"I was just thinking that you would have been an adorable baby. I mean, I met you when we were I high school when we met each other. I never got to see what you looked like when you were little. For all I know, James could look just like you used to!" You thought again for a couple seconds. "Do you think Steve would be willing to draw me some pictures?"

"Of what?"

"You! I mean, you and Steve grew up together, so he has to remember what you used to look like!" You stood up from where you had been sitting on the couch.

"Where are you going?" Said Bucky standing and picking James up. He walked over to the kitchen so he could get James a snack.

"I'm going to take a trip over to the Tower so I can talk to Steve." Bucky looked confused.

"Why don't you just phone him? You don't have to go all the way across town to as if he'll draw you pictures of me when I was younger, and I thought we were going to watch that new Martian movie. You know, the flight surgeon in the movie looks a lot like me." He said proudly. You stared at his face for a few moments.

"I don't see a resemblance. I want to go see how things are going over at the Tower. We can watch the movie when I get back. I shouldn't be gone for much more than an hour." Bucky chuckled and kissed you on the cheek.

"My wife, the sneak. Have fun being nosy!" He took a bag if Goldfish crackers out of the cabinet. He gave James a handful of them and started to eat some himself. You rolled your eyes.

"I'm not being nosy! I just prefer talking to people face to face instead of hoping that the people who make the phones work aren't listening to my private business." You grabbed your coat and purse.

"Because you know that asking Steve if he'll draw pictures for you is classified material, but I won't argue with you about it if you think that you need to go. Tell him I say hello."

"Will do. Love you." You went over to Buck and gave him a kiss.

"What about James?" You laughed and kissed James' nose. He squished his face up.

"I love you too, Jamesy. I'll be back soon." As you were leaving the apartment, you heard Bucky whisper," That's not soon enough." You closed the door of the apartment and leaned against it. After all these years, Bucky still had the ability to make comments that would make you blush like a tomato. He could still make your knees turn into Jello with a simple grin. He still loved you the way that he had when he married you all those years ago. You stopped leaning on the door and started down the hallway. You smiled to yourself. You hadn't thought about when you two had gotten married in a long time.

It had been a plain ceremony, but you still loved the memory of it no matter how many things went wrong. That day back in 1942 was one of the best days of your life. You head worn the same wedding dress and veil that your mother had worn. As you walked down the aisle, you started to cry when you saw the dashing James Buchanan Barnes standing next to Steve and the minister. In fact, you cried so much that you couldn't see what you were doing and tripped. Next thing you knew, you were face first on the ground.

Out of everyone that was laughing at you, you could very clearly hear Bucky's voice over the rest. Your father helped you stand up, and you two continued walking towards Bucky who was trying as hard as he could to stop laughing, but he couldn't. When you made it down the aisle and stood there looking at him, every time he looked at you, he would start laughing again. After a few minutes, he finally regained his composure at stood there silently grinning at you.

When it came to the part of the ceremony where you two were supposed to exchange your vows, Bucky completely forgot the ones that he written for you, so he tried to improvise and ended up saying that "You're great, and I love you." Despite how it sounded, you were extremely moved and started to cry again, but this time you were holding Buck's hands, and you knew that he wasn't going to let you ever fall. You then said your vows. When the ring bearer to give you two the rings, Bucky was shaking so much that he dropped your wedding ring. After a few minutes of searching, it was found under your Aunt Gertrude's foot.

The rest of the service went perfectly. I mean, the only part of the ceremony left was you two kissing, but that counts as much as the rest of the ceremony. The reception was small as well. Your family and Buck's (and Steve) all gathered in the banquet hall in the church. You all danced, ate, and had a great time. When the reception was over, you and Bucky left for your honeymoon in (you get to choose where you two went).

When you finally got to the Tower, it was in chaos like normal. Tony had locked himself in his room, Bruce was hiding in his bedroom, Steve and Natasha were trying to help get Clint's head unstuck from between to bannisters on some stairs, and Thor was laughing since he was the one that shoved Clint's head there in the first place since Clint at the last poptarts and never told Thor.

You quietly walked into the room and cleared your throat. They all turned to look at you except for Clint who couldn't. Steve came over to you and gave you a hug.

"(Y\N)! Just who I needed to talk to."
