A loud groan coming from next to me snapped me out of my thoughts. Now almost everything made sense, I found my mate last night, which was strange cause I couldn't remember wh-
No. No, no, no. This had to be some sort of bad joke...
I turned on the bed around only to see the Alpha, Jack, rubbing his eyes. I did what everyone would do when they find out they slept with their tormentor, I screamed.
"God, shut the fuck up and start get the fuck out!" He yelled at me.
"B-but...we're mates?" I whimpered at his tone.
"You don't get it, do you? I'm an Alpha. I don't need a mate and especially one like you." He explained, starting to shake like he was about to shift.
"What do you mean?"
"Ugh, you were never that smart, were you? I. don't. want. you... and now I want you out of here when I get out of the shower" with that he walks into the bathroom leaving me picking up my clothes and running shocked into my room. I just can't believe that my other half just rejected me. Even though it was the Alpha, I truly expected something better from him.
I can't stay here. I just... I need to leave. I need to leave today.
