You and your three-year-old son Caden were visiting your friends in the Avengers tower. Caden was very excited about seeing the Avengers once again. He had met them few times before but he had been so young back then he couldn't have remembered it. You on the other hand remembered very clearly.

Your team mates came to visit you at the hospital after you had given birth to Caden.

FLASHBACK
They all rushed in the private room you were in and one by one they came over and held little Caden in their arms. You couldn't help but smile and let a few tears run down your cheeks.

"So... Where's the father?" Asked Steve and so your smile faltered.

"He told me he wanted nothing to do with the two of us." You told them as you got a hold of your newborn once again.

"What? Why?"

"He just wasn't ready to be a father. It was just a one night thing, I don't blame him."

"Do you want me to kick his ass?" Natasha asked and you chuckled.

"No, guys, I'm fine. Seriously."

"But he can't leave you alone with this baby! He needs a father."

"Excuse me but I can do this on my own! Do you think I won't be able to raise him alone?" You asked, your voice raising slightly.

The others looked at each other and you were starting to fear they really didn't believe you could handle raising Caden alone. As you were opening your mouth to say something, Tony interrupted you.

"No, of course you can raise this kid on your own."

"Yeah, you're a strong woman. Strongest one I know," Steve smiled at you and you heard Natasha huff which made you chuckle. "And if you ever need help you know we'll always be there for you."

And that's how Caden met the Avengers for the first time. After that, he's only seen them a few times.

You haven't really been on missions since you found out you were pregnant. You had been training for the last few months and every time you've had training, you've left Caden with one of your friends. Sadly, your friend was sick. But as you heard about your friend, you decided it was a time for Caden to meet the Avengers again. When you told him he was very excited, he took his toys with him, all of them somehow based on the Avengers. He was a huge fan and he always kept bragging about having a mom who is part of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

When you had parked your car, you got out, went to get Caden and the bag of toys he brought and you headed inside.

Caden kept jumping up and down as you held his hand. "Are you excited?" You asked him and he nodded his head affirmatively.

As the elevator let out a beep noise and the doors opened, Caden ran. You called after him but he just kept running until he reached the sofa in the common room. You jogged up to him and dropped the bag on the floor and turned your attention to the sofa as well. There was the infamous Winter Soldier, napping peacefully.

"Mommy," Caden whispered.

"Yes, honey?" You crouched down beside him. Caden grabbed your arm as he pointed at the man. "Who is that?"

"That's Bucky, the newest addition to the Avengers. He hasn't been here long. But he's a sweet guy. If you hear people say otherwise then they are talking rubbish." You told him with a smile.
