~Chapter Ten: Let's forget~
After I spent the rest of the afternoon with Zoe, I decide to ring Marcus.
"Hello?" A confused voice speaks through.
"We need to talk, about last night" the line falls quiet.
"Okay...come mine? House is empty."
I agree and hang up.

I drove my way to Marcus' house and wait patiently at the door.
He finally answers and lets me in.
"Look, I'm sorry for shouting. It was my own fault too, and I took it out on you, I feel really guilty for it all, I'm sorry."
Marcus smiles weakly at me and that's when I realise how stressed he looks, hair messy and his complexion more pale.
"It's fine. I was harsh too, but I was thinking maybe we could pretend it never happened?" I look at Marcus' and his face fell.
"Sure" he mumbles.
*******
Marcus pov:
"Its fine. I was harsh too, but I was thinking maybe we could pretend it never happened?"
I swallow the lump in my throat.
Why did that hurt?
I can't have feelings for her. I slept with her, that's all. It was a mistake.
She has a boyfriend she loves and she wants to forget about what happened between us for him.
No matter how hard I try to push my selfish feelings aside and fight in my head that it can't be true, I couldn't.
I have feelings for Laila.
