I'm having some luncheon with Sophie
She sips her green tea leisurely before putting it down and resting her steady green eyed gaze on me
"She doesn't really want to speak to me anymore. I don't really want to speak to her either," I sigh staring out of the window despondently
"Don't you just love kids? Even when they're not born they're causing chaos and anarchy already," she says sarcastically
I glower at Sophie
"The baby isn't causing any problems," I snap defensively
My pumpkin is my little pumpkin
It's crazy when I think about how much love and affection I have for the little butterfly
To think that I can love a human being that I've never met before with every inch of my fibre
"Her aunt wants to meet me tomorrow," I continue my tone low and heavy
Sophie snaps her fingers in my face startling me
"Chris! You are meeting the next best thing to your gorgeous beau and you need to be on point!"
I roll my eyes and fold my arms across my chest
"I know that you can be the dazzling Charming chesire cat that we all know you to be," Sophie explains coyly, her voice smooth and silky
A small smile tugs itself at the side of my lips
I break out into my white beaming smile full of mischief and cockiness
