A Mutter (Part 2)

Okay so I have finally finished this. Its kinda crappy but whatever I'm tired. There is most likely going to be hella grammar and spelling errors, but I'm honestly too proud that I managed to finish this to care. I had to delete a big chunk of this bc it was just dragging on but I might put those in my draft book (I copy them before I delete them). I also usually write at night, so I write half asleep a lot and sometimes it comes out okay, sometimes it doesn't. But I hope you do enjoy (Oh and I have more ideas coming, but I'm not sure when I'll actually write them) :3 I FORGOT TO TITLE IT AHAHHAA *LE CRI*

"Yeah I'm fine. I was just wondering, who do you like?" he decided to ask, and her face flushed.

"I'm not sure if you know him, but his name is Adrien Agreste."  

Pardon his French,

but holy shit. 

Chat's eyes went wide with surprise, his cheeks flushed. Marinette likes Adrien. He wouldn't have ever guessed that. He thought he scared her. He would have laughed at this situation if it wasn't for Marinettes expression. She seemed scared at his reaction, and rushed an explanation. "L-listen I can explain! Adrien is a s-sweet boy. People only like him because he's a m-model, but his personality is amazing! I can tell he's l-lonely, and the last time I saw him truly smile is when he let me u-use his umbrella...I wish I could talk to him, but every time I try to t-talk to him, I get tongue tied and I can't g-get a single c-coherent  sentence out. H-he probably thinks I'm insane, but I do r-really love him..." she looks down at her hands, biting her lip nervously. 

Chat was trying to get it together. How does he approach this? Should he reveal his identity? Should he call her Marinette? He was so confused, but so... so happy. He was happy Ladybug was Marinette. He felt bad she cried over him. She must have overheard his conversation with Nino. Nino was trying to find out who Adriens crush was, and of course his first question was if he did like someone. Chat realized something. This was all his fault. Marinette was heartbroken by Adrien, he made her cry. He made her think so poorly about herself, making her feel like she wasn't good enough. He wanted to cry and slap himself for being so oblivious. But he didn't want to make her worried or maybe upset her anymore. Chat sighs, looking at Marinette, who was nervously playing with her hair. He picks her up and she squeals, blushing as he puts her on his lap. "C-chat what the hell?! you could've warned me first!" she scolds, her blue eyes standing out from her mask. He just smiled in reply and hugged her, making her very flustered and confused.

Ladybug sighed, eventually hugging him back. she shifted herself to make it more comfortable, her legs wrapping around his waist, and rested her head on his shoulder. "Chat, why are you being so kind towards me? I don't deserve it" Marinette asks, looking up at Chat. "You deserve all the kindness in the world. You, Marinette, are generous and witty. you help out no matter what and always find a solution to everything. You may be clumsy, but I'll always be here to catch you. I love you Marinette. Ladybug or not" He replied, taking in her reaction

Marinette flushed hard at the comment, still processing what he said. " Wait... how do you know my r-real identity?!" she almost screamed, panicking and trying to get out of Chats grasp. "Woah, calm down, My Lady. Let me explain" Chat says, easily grasping her hands to stop her. He kissed her forehead, a small smile upon his face. Her eyes were still wide and she was still breathing hard, but stopped to look at him, his smile full of love. " Marinette, I have excellent hearing from my Kawmi. I heard what you muttered to yourself. You aren't plain or old. You are unique in every way. Your designs for fashion are simply miraculous, you have a real skill. You are sassy and smart, not to mention cute. You could never be boring. You are amazing,with or without a miraculous, Marinette, and I can tell you for a fact that Adrien loves you."

Marinette was confused beyond belief. Chat finally found out her identity, and he seems so calm about it. He's telling her how amazing she is, and a bunch of sweet things. He even said that Adrien loves her! Wait, how could he know that? "Chat, how do you know that A-Adrien loves me?" She questions, tilting her to the side slightly. Chat grinned, sliding Ladybug off his lap so he could get up. His ring beeped, telling him he had about 4 Minutes. 'perfect timing' he thought to himself as he looked at Marinette, who was now standing as well. Her earrings beeped as well, but she just shrugged. There was no use in running away, since Chat found out who she was already. 

"Don't you think you should go before your transformation wears off, kitty?" Marinette asked, stepping closer to Chat. "I want to answer your question, princess." Chat said, stepping closer to Ladybug. "Hold on a second, I want to get out of this suit" Marinette says plafully, going to the side on the chimney where he couldn't see her. "okay Tikki, go ahead" Marinette says, than she's surrounded by a red light. Marinette kisses Tikki's head and whispers a thank you, gently putting her in her purse where cookies were located. 

During this time, Chat decided to go back to his civilian self. Adrien looked at Plagg, who was complaining about being hungry and tired. 'yep he's fine' he thought to himself, chuckling and putting the Kwami into his pocket. He promised Plagg a pile of cheese when they got home. Adrien hid behind some big pipe on the roof, waiting for Marinette. 

Marinette stepped out of her hiding spot, looking around and not seeing chat. "Chat?" she called out, hoping he was still there. "Yeah I'm over her" she heard him yell back, and she started to walk towards the pipe. "Okay, Marinette, I'm not transformed anymore. Once you see me, please don't freak out, okay. I'll answer your question" She raised her eyebrow and said okay, walking over towards where Chat was. "Marinette,I know Adrien loves you, because I'm Adrien."

Marinette put her hands up to her mouth, totally shocked. Adrien stood there, smiling, looking at her. He walked towards her, and hugged her. The hug was like no other. It finally happened. They found each other. Marinette hugged Adrien back, her face buried into the crook of his neck. They stood there for a minute hugging, like they would never see each other again. Finally, Adrien pulled away, but still kept a hand on Marinette's shoulder. then, a little voice was heard. "Ew, gross. I wanna see Tikki" Plagg said, getting out of Adrien's shirt.

 Marinette giggled, and Adrien just glared at him. "This is my Kwami, Plagg. He doesn't have much manners" Adrien said, seeing Marinette and Plagg wave at each other. Marinette opened her purse, and let Tikki out, who was brushing off cookie crumbs. " It's true. Plagg is very.. uh... Wild. He isn't one for manners." Tikki said, looking over at the black cat who was glaring at her. "Oh, hello Adrien, I'm Tikki" she said, smiling at him and grabbing Plagg, giving him a short hug then pulling him away from them. "Let's leave these two alone for now." "I'm more than willing to do that. Stop pulling on my ear, I'm sorry!" they heard as the Kwami's floated away. Marinette giggled at that, looking back at Adrien. "Those two are quite a pair" Marinette said, feeling Adrien step closer to her. "Like us" he replied, wiggling his eyebrows. Marinette laughed and flushed at how close they have gotten. 

Adrien bent down, looking at Marinette in the eyes, his face a couple of inches away from hers. "But Marinette, I really do really love you. You're everything a person should be. And I'm so happy that I have finally found you, through tough times that were my fault. I'm sorry for that, all you deserve is love."  Adrien whispered, his hands at her waist. She was blushing hard, but managed to get out a sentence without stuttering. "I love you too, Adrien. Chat or not, you are still brave, smart, and handsome. I could not have asked for anything better than this moment. Thank you." She said, and kissed Adrien softly. Adrien never felt this happy before, kissing her back. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she played with some of his blonde locks. The kiss was sweet, they both poured all their feeling out in that kiss. When they both needed air, they separated and breathed heavily. 

Adrien kissed Marinette on the nose, then her cheek then all over her face. She was laughing, trying to catch his lips. He finally kissed her lips again, the kiss was passionate. They were both finally at peace, everything finally felt right. Marinette pulls away and grabs Adrien's hand, Pulling him with her to go get their Kwamis. They turn a corner to see Tikki and Plagg laughing about something, they were so happy to see each other after all those years. Tikki notices Marinette and flies over to her, hugging her cheek. " Everything worked out in the end, huh. And this was just from a mutter" Tikki whispered, making Marinette blush slightly. "Tikki, stop!" she giggled, and the red Kwami just smiled and sat on her shoulder.
