Alice's P.O.V.

Francis told me that the world meeting was going to take the span of two days. It was a bit hard to keep up with everything that was going on, but we all managed. I stood by the door and greeted everyone who came in. I got quite a few hugs from the people who remembered me as the little eight year old that had served them before.

"Ve~ Alice!" Italy yelled when he saw me. I smiled as he threw himself at me. He had always made time to talk to me when he came to visit.

"Bonjour Mr Vargas." I said and that's when he was pulled off of me. I looked at Ludwig and my smile grew. "Nice to see you again Mr Beilshmidt. May I take your coats?"

They both shrugged them off but Feliciano insisted on bringing his own coat to hang up. Seeing that I wouldn't be able to talk him out of it, I let him follow me. Ludwig was close behind. It seemed as if they were just as close, if not closer, then they had been from when they were last here.

"Ve~ bella you're still so nice and elegant." He said and I blushed.

"Thank you sir." I said and guided them to the ballroom. When they entered Feliciano was looking around in amazement. I guess the was a bit taken aback since it had been almost a hundred years since he had seen the ballroom transformed like this.

The staff and I had taken the time to clean all the walls and the floor. The chandelier was lit with new candles. The table had a red white tablecloth over it with fresh roses decorating the table. On everyone's red napkin was a single rose - we had taken the time to get rid of all the thorns.

"Ve~ bella, come sit beside me?" Feliciano asked and I shook my head.

"I am sorry Mr Vargas, I must greet other guests. Plus I am not aloud in the room while you are all talking about economic values and disasters." I said and curtsied to them before leaving the room. I wasn't about to let people know that I stood in the secret passage and listened to what everyone had to say. I had been doing that every world meeting that was held here since I was eight.

Once the last guest had arrived I served them their food. I had gotten them all correct, just like I had when I was eight. It was the first time in about two hundred years I had served them, but they all seemed happier knowing that I was serving. I guess they all thought about how I hadn't messed up when I was eight, so I wouldn't mess up now.

But there were a few new countries that I didn't know. But I had learned there names the day before when Francis showed me pictures and told me their names. It wasn't that hard since there were only about two or three of them I didn't know.

Once I was done serving I walked out of the French doors and down the hall. I quickly went to the secret passage way and listened to their conversation. I know I shouldn't have but I had to make sure nobody attacked Francis. If they did I would grab the sword off the wall and be ready to defend him in a heart beat.

"Francis, why did you not tell us, aru?" I heard Wang Yao ask.

It seemed as if they were asking why they didn't know he had a one thing. No offence but anyone with common sense could answer that. It was simple really. He wanted to keep me safe, and by not telling anyone about me being his one thing, he did.

"Isn't it obvious, he wanted to keep the fraulein safe." Ludwig stated. "I can understand that, and you should as well."

As Ludwig said that I thought about they way he looked at Feliciano. Ludwig would do whatever he had to to protect Feliciano. Just as I would do anything to protect Francis. Even if it weren't proper for the girl to be protecting the guy I didn't care. My mom had taught me that if I cared for something, I should protect it.

"Whatever west. We all understand but since when did you get a soft side?" Gilbert asked. There were a few snicker from countries around the room.

"Prussia don't be rude." I heard Matthew say. I smiled at the two of them together. If Gilbert were being honest he would have to say he had grown a soft spot too.

"But why you chose her, da?" Ivan asked. "Can I have her?"

"Non, you cannot have her." Francs yelled as he stood and slammed his hands on the table.

"Not even by using Magic Metal Pipe of Pain?" Ivan asked.

"Non but let this be a warning. If you touch mon petit Alice, you die." Francis said and I shivered. I had never heard Francis so serious. It was a bit of a shock but reassuring at the same time.

"But you want to give her to me. If you don't I'll make sure your pretty little face gets pounded into dust." Ivan said and I instantly moved out of the secret passage way to see a purple aura surrounding Ivan. I grabbed the sword off the wall just in case.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said as I came to stand beside Francis who was standing with his own sword at his side. I glared at Ivan and he smile innocently, the purple aura still around him. I could see the red aura around Francis as well.

"Brother, you should leave them alone. Francis is all that Alice has left." Katyusha said and I couldn't help but smile at her. Ivan seemed to think for a moment before the purple around him subsided.

I guess Ivan knew what it was like to have something taken away. As I thought about this I couldn't help but wonder what that thing was. Had he ever gotten it back? And what was it?

I said a quick apology for interrupting the meeting and for being rude before leaving the room. I felt a bit bad for the way I had been handling things. But I guess that with all that had happened I was a little on edge. Honestly I was surprised that no one has started calling me a murder yet.

But heading down to the kitchen I shook the thoughts away and got back to work.
