I was sitting in mine and Ali's room. Just laying there. Thinking. Ali was at a friends house or something.
"Whatcha doing?"
I looked up. Cody.
"Just thinking."
"Of what?"
"None of your business."
He shrugged and sat down next to me.
"You wanna go out to dinner tonight?"
"Sure." I smiled. He got up and left. I rushed to my closet.
"What should a wear???" I mumbled to myself. I found a really pretty dress. It was red, with Rhinestones. Sounds familiar? Yeah... expect that one was purple.
*6:25pm*
knock knock.
"Come in." I said I was putting in my earrings.
"You ready?" Cody asked.
"Yep!" I said grabbing my bag.
He smiled and i followed him out.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see."
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Kay, fine. I'll tell you....."
"Where is it we are going?!?"
"Golden Coral!"
"YAY! I haven't been there since my 12th birthday with..... my mom." I said the last part queitly and i looked down. Cody put an arm around me.
"We can go some where else if you want?"
"No. It's fine." I said looking up at him.
"Okay."
His eyes went form my eyes to my lips and back to my eyes. I leaned in and so did he. His lips were warm. As if to melt all my problems and sadness away.
After about a minute, he pulled away.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear.
"I love you too." I whispered back.
