Myles' pov
Briar's house was nice. It wasn't around a bunch of other houses, it was by its self but that's what I like about it. There aren't many people around, so my head wasn't hurting. She had quite a large, white house with a beautiful garden. Flowers, tree swings and a pond! This place is amazing, I'm so glad that I get to stay here!

"Your house is lovely." I say as she leads me into the kitchen.
"Thanks." She says.
She leads me into my bedroom I guess. It has blue walls, a red rug, a white bed and a wooden wardrobe. Quite plain, but she did live alone until now so I understand.
"This is your room. Sorry it doesn't have much character." She says.
"It's fine." I say with a smile.

Suddenly her vision comes into my head. Her past. I see her parents kicking her out of their house, living on the streets, getting a job and getting this house. Wow, she had a pretty tough life. She seems like such a nice person, a normal person wouldn't know what she went through.

As soon as I come back to reality, Briar looks really worried.
"Oh my gosh! Are you ok? What happened? You completely blacked out and fell on the floor!" She says and helps me up.
"I'm ok, don't worry. That happens sometimes." I say.
"That's even more worrying! Why does that happen?" She asks, still looking worried.
"Can you keep a secret?" I ask.
"Yes." She replies.
"I can see people's pasts." I admit.
"And I can fly." She says sarcastically.
"I really can! You were kicked out of your house because you were caught sneaking out." I say.
"I told you that!" She yells.
"Come with me to the park and I'll prove it." I say and grab her hand.
"Ok I guess. But if you're lying, I'm kicking you out." She says sharply.
