(Bashful Heart Bear)
Steve stood there with his eyebrows furrowed for a minute.
"I thought I heard singing last night!" He said quietly to himself.
-------------------
A few minutes later, after rubbing the butter on Clint's head and a lot of swearing, pushing, and shoving (all done by Clint), Clint was free. You looked over at the clock on the wall.
"Oh! I'd better be going! I told Bucky that I'd be back home in an hour, and I just realized that I never did what I came over here to do." You turned to Steve. "Steve, I was wondering if you could draw me some pictures for me of what Bucky looked like when you were children. I just want to know what James might look like in the future. I mean, I know what he may look like when he's a teenager and on, but before that, I have no idea." Steve thought for a moment before he nodded his head.
"Of course I can do that for you. I haven't thought about what Bucky looked like when we were little in ages. It'll be fun to try to draw him. Is that why you came all the way over here? You could have just called me. I mean, I'm no Alexander Graham Bell, but I can still use a phone. I'm also getting better at texting."
"Steve, we were frozen for 70 years. Did you really ever guess that that was going to happen to you? I didn't. I just feel like doing stuff like this in person firstly because I like getting to see my friends in person, and secondly because you never know what will happen." Steve nodded his head. You then said goodbye to everyone and left the tower.
--------------------------
When you got back to the apartment, Bucky was sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in his hand, staring at the door. He grinned at you as you walked through the door.
"Ready to watch the movie?" He asked standing up and finishing up his cup of coffee.
"I just got home. Give me a minute to settle in. Where's James, and why were you sitting there staring at the door?" You took your coat and shoes off and put your purse down on the table.
"I put James down for his nap a few minutes ago. I decided to make myself some coffee and wait for you to get home. How was Steve?" Bucky said heading over to the couch. You walked over and plopped down on the couch next to Bucky. You snuggled up to his side, and he put his arm around your shoulders.
"Oh, Steve was good, but Clint wasn't. Thor shoved his head through the stairway bannisters inn the living room." Bucky chuckled.
"I'm sorry I missed it. It sounds hilarious." Said Buck as he turned the TV on.
"Oh, it was. Steve and Natasha had to rub butter all over Clint's head. Thor and I just stood there laughing as Clint screamed at them." Bucky laughed again and started the movie which had already been put into the DVD player.
"When you were gone, I did some research about that actor who I think looks like me. Did you know that he's from Romania?" Said Bucky.
"His name is Sebastian Stanley, right?" You asked.
"Sebastian Stan but close enough. I'm really excited to watch this movie. It sounds really interesting." And with that, Bucky started the movie, and the two of you had a great time watching it.
---------------------------
After the movie was over, Bucky wouldn't stop talking about how he should have been an astronaut.
"Buck, there wasn't even a space program back then! Everyone would have thought that you were insane for thinking about going into space."
"But I could have gone to space!" Bucky knew that there wasn't a valid argument for him to make, so right when you were about to start talking again, he kissed you to make you stop. As you melted unto the kiss, you couldn't help but feel slightly irked. When he finally stopped kissing you, you stared him straight in the eyes until he shrank back a little.
