Jess

This is just too soon. I thought I still had two days to think of what and how to tell him, but only an hour and we're back in Seoul. 

I try to smile at him, but every time I see his face, my heart aches more and more. 

I have to look for an apartment soon. I can't live there after I break up the news to him. I won't be able to see him in the eye when we bump into each other in the hallway. 

As soon as we get into the apartment, I talk to Vic. 

"Besie," the tears I've been holding on come running down. 

"Hey! What's wrong? Jess, come here," he pulls me in a hug, letting me sit on the couch in the living room. 

"I can't do this anymore. I feel guilty. I'm hurting him more everyday."

"Mark?"

I nod. 

"You're breaking up with him? Are you sure? You look so good together?"

"Yes. I have to. Oh, Vic. He told me he loves me." I sob.

"Shouldn't you be jumping for joy. You got him. What's wrong with that?" 

"What if he finds out this is all just a lie? It's not like I'm gonna keep him forever anyway. Jackson is so angry. He told me I have to end this soon before I hurt him more."

"I know you don't love him yet, Besie. But what about your dad's company?" 

"I don't want to drag him in my problems. Jackson's right. I'm being selfish. I'm pretending to like this guy who already is in love with me only for my own benefit."

"Jess!" 

"And to top that, Lei's here."

"Wait...what? Since when? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't have time to tell you. I saw him the first time before we went to Jeju. Then he showed up in Jeju just yesterday."

"OMG. Did you talk?"

I nod, more tears run down. "He said he still loves me. He's here to come and get me."

"What? So, are you going with him? Do you even still love him?"

"I don't know. I'm confused right now. When I saw him, I wanted to take him back. But he said these things about the company and my family and I just ran away again."

"You 'babo'!" 

"Babo?"

"Stupid!" He shouts, "you're stupid. But how about Mark?"

"You're even more stupid. That's what I've been telling you for the past several minutes now. I have to break up with him."

"Why? Because you want to run to Lei? What for? Mark is perfect for you."

"But he's not the one I love."

"Who is? Lei? Yeah right. I see you like Mark. I can see the changes in you ever since you've been together. You like him!" 

"I'm comfortable with him. There's a big difference Vic."

"I so envy you right now, Besie!" Is he kidding me? Was he even listening? "You got these two perfect guys who are so in love you. All you have to do is choose." He chuckles. 

"This is no laughing matter, Vic."

"It is. You're funny. You don't even know what you're feeling anymore. I think we need to take you to a psychiatrist, Besie."
