That summer we moved back into the old county and I went to High school with my old friends
I was excited to be back.
Especially since there was this junior who's attention I had caught
He was Hispanic and he was played baseball
Bless the baseball players
But he started messaging me and we hit it off somewhat
From the movies, I had figured that he was going to only message me after and not talk to me during school
But that wasn't the case
He'd sweet talk me through message
And everyday after my 2nd period he'd throw his arm around me and call me "baby"
He'd walk me to class and everyone saw
I was really shocked, because this boy
This boy was really attractive, a lot of girls wanted him and he was focused on me
But I kept my head out of my butt and told myself that he didn't want me
He wanted what I had
So I never let my guard down
I'd seen when he'd done the same to other girls, calling them baby and walking them to class
And it was weird that he'd been bugging me to "hang out" and when I told him my mom wanted to meet him
He didn't show up
