"ARINA!" Sanha yelled after me. "ARINA! SLOW DOWN!" He yelled once again. I stopped walking so he could catch up to me. I walked to school everyday, and since he lived further away he takes the train, from the station he walks. 'It must be a hassle to do that every morning, huh?' I thought to myself. "What are you doing this weekend?" He smiled still out of breath. I thought about it. I looked at my shoes and (damn what're those) froze at his intense stare I felt. "Uhhhhh, I don't think I'm doing anything this weekend." I replied. He smiled even more making his eyes smile along as well. "Good, because I am taking you somewhere." I looked at him curiously after his statement. "Where?" I asked. "Somewhere! You can't know yet! It's a surprise!" He bounced excitedly. "I'd have to ask Kaito." I told him kinda nervously. Kaito was my older brother and since my parents were always working I had to approach him with all of my plans and concerns. "Does he have to know exactly where we go? I was hoping it could be a surprise." He pouted. "You could tell him yourself.." I suggested. He looked around and tapped his finger on his cheek. "I will do that then." He smiled cheekily. He's such a bright and bubbly person, even when you first meet him. He's shy at first, but still very bubbly. I was just shy and very reserved. Somehow I could open up to Sanha, but with others it was difficult.

We stopped at a convenience store that was nearby school. I picked up a couple of snacks to have throughout the day, and I even bought Sanha some snacks as well. He thanked me and we walked the rest of the way to school. I walked to my locker and put in the combination. I opened it, setting the bag of snacks and some of my folders inside. I put my history textbook into my backpack and went on my way to homeroom. Sanha and I had the same homeroom and English class, but the rest I was advanced in. My intellect level also got me a scholarship. Everyone knew about my scholarship and teased me about it, but I was proud. I'm happy that I am smart and talented enough to gain a scholarship. To receive a better education, which in the future will help me achieve so much.

My brother attends the school as well with a scholarship. He is older though and is in the high school level while I am in the middle school. It is my last year of middle school, and soon I will be on the same level as Kaito. Kaito is seventeen and I'm fifteen. Kaito takes care of me at home and at school. When we have lunch and I have no one to sit with he'll bring me along with his friends. Usually, I'd just insist on sitting under a tree and enjoy the weather. When it's raining I'd join my brother but stare out a window, observing the droplets fall.

Homeroom ended. I walked out of homeroom and into history class. "Arina!" some person yelled. "Hm?" I looked around. I saw some guy coming towards me. "So is it true? You're single?" He asked. I nodded pretending to not know where he was going with this. My eyes were wide, this is the first I was being asked out, but I was definitely not interested. "That's great!" he started. "Then we should go out!" he smiled. I smiled back and shook me head no. "I don't think so." I said still smiling. "Why not?!" he scoffed. I tapped my fingers against my desk. "Well, first, I don't even know your name. Second, you've never talked to me before now. Third, you'd have to talk to my brother." I replied annoyed. He went wide eyed and took his seat. I smirked at his reaction when I mentioned my brother. He was a very friendly and popular person in the school, but everyone knew that when it came to me he was very protective. Some girls at the beginning of the year were picking on me because I was on a scholarship, but once he confronted them they stopped. My brother was respected by everyone. He had charms, intelligence, athleticism, everything.

The teacher finally entered the classroom ten minutes late. "Sorry I'm late! My alarm didn't go off!" she stumbled in. "Good morning teacher!" We greeted her. "Ah! Good morning to you all as well!" She replied with a nervous smile. "Since I don't have time to set up my lesson, you all will do a simple worksheet! All you need is the textbook!" She said passing out the sheet of paper. "Please focus! You don't have much time to do the worksheet if you chatter away!" She took a seat at her desk and got out the attendance clip board. She called out the names of the students in the class including myself. After the attendance was taken I popped my earbuds in and played music from my phone. I was very into the music from America. I liked the neighbourhood, never shout never, and Ruth B. the most. So once I put the music on shuffle, lovesick by never shout never came on. I knew English very well actually. I studied it for awhile in Japan since I was young. I understood it and spoke it fluently. I quietly sang along with the lyrics and wrote the answers onto the work sheet. Everyone in this class was older than me and we're always asking for help, so I ignored them usually by listening to music. I am a savage. Yep, I said it.

~time skip to the end of the school day~

I walked out of my last class and to my locker. I was startled when Sanha yelled out a "Hi!". Once I had my backpack on he linked arms with me and we started walking. He didn't unlink when we passed the street he usually turns to go to the train. "Are you not going home?" I asked him. He looked down at me since he was really tall. "I'm coming home with you to ask your brother if you can come with me for the weekend. I wait until he comes home and ask him then." He smiled at me. I smiled back with slightly tinted cheeks. "Your blush is very adorable, Arisa." He complimented. "Shush! I do not blush! I get sick every time you say such cheesy things!" I puffed my cheeks out. He laughed as we arrived at my house. This wasn't his first time at my house, but it seemed every time he saw it he was amazed. "You seem like such a simple girl, but you live in such a nice house." he stated. I scrunched my nose and stuck my tongue out at him. "I am not going to flaunt about how I live." I huffed. I was kind of embarrassed about my house because of how extreme it seemed compared to some houses. I'm most definitely grateful for my house, but I certainly missed having my family home together. I started homework and so did Sanha. We finished and since I craved boba we went to go get some. It was right near my house in a little plaza. When we ordered the drinks we walked back to my house. I placed my brother's drink in the refrigerator and sat at the island in the kitchen with Sanha. "I think we should do another duet." He stated randomly. "Okay." I agreed. "What song?". He paused, and silence filled the room. "I'm not really sure." He said. "I just really like working with you on music. You seem really focused and determined."

The door opened and keys were thrown towards the island...... But they hit me in the face instead. "Owwwwwwwwww." I whined. "Sorry Arina! I didn't know you...... Two were here?" He tilted his head slightly. "Oh! Yes!" Sanha started. "May I take your sister out for the weekend?" He asked.
