I woke up, clearly remembering having a dream about Tyler. It was a quite pleasant dream, I must say.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, and rolled over to check my phone. I had a text from one of my friends, but I didn't bother opening it.

I sat on the edge of my bed, and remembered that the Stars would have practice today.

I dug through my drawers looking for leggings, and found a big, victory green colored hoodie. I pulled that on, not bothering to put on a shirt underneath.

I grabbed my phone, keys, and headed out the door.

I got into my truck, and headed towards the arena where the Stars practiced.

~~~
I arrived right as Jack Campbell did. "Hey Jack." I looked up at him. He was at least a full foot taller than me.
"Hey Bray." He laughed as he looked down at me.
As we entered the building, my eyes immediately started looking for Tyler. I had to see him.
~Tyler's POV~
I heard Jack walk in talking to Braelynn. I couldn't help but look up from the puck drills to see her. As soon as I saw her, our eyes locked. I didn't want to break it, but she looked down after a few seconds. I sighed and went back to doing the drills.
~Braelynn's POV~
When our eyes locked, I couldn't help but break the gaze. I looked down, blushing a bit. Maybe I'd talk to him after practice I told myself.
I walked towards the bench to say hi to the rest of the guys, and I noticed Bo wasn't there.
~~~

Practice was finished, and the guys started coming out of the locker room one by one.

Jack stopped to talk a bit over a few minor things. He was always a fun guy to talk to. He was constantly cracking jokes and making people laugh. For the few minutes he spoke to me, I forgot about Tyler.

That was, until Jack walked off, and Tyler sauntered out of the locker room. My mouth produced the words before I could stop them. "Hey Tyler."

Tyler looked up and smiled at me. "Hey Braelynn."

I waited for him to get closer, and turned to start walking out to the parking lot. "You did good at practice today. I don't think Jack stood a chance against your slapshots." I laughed a little after that.

Tyler laughed a bit as well. "Yeah. I don't think he did either." He responded a little cockily.

I stopped walking, look up at him, and leaned back on the wall behind me. "Wow, I never noticed how cocky you are!" I said, surprised.

Tyler flashed a flirty smile my way. "I'm only occasionally cocky."

I rolled my eyes. "You're hot when you're cocky." I covered my mouth, and immediately regretted saying anything. "Crap.. Uhh I.. Uh.."

Tyler looked up at her with great surprise. "I would say the same but I haven't seen you when you're being cocky." He laughed a little, taking a step towards me. He reached for my wrists, and brought them down to my thighs. While doing this, he slid a slip of paper in the waistband of my leggings that contained his number. I was completely oblivious to this.

I stared into his eyes, and moved my gaze down to his lips. He was so close, and his lips were so kissable. Damn lips, damn you. I lean towards him a little bit, expecting a kiss from him.

All of the sudden his phone goes off, and he sighs. He pulls his phone out of his back pocket, and looked at who was calling.

"I'm sorry. I have to take this." He said looking down at his phone.

I nodded. My heart is racing. It feels like it will explode any moment now. I push myself off the wall, and start walking towards my truck. 'What was that?' I asked myself as calmly as I could, a smile pulling on the corners of my mouth with a little bit of disappointment showing in my eyes.
