The last few days have been fun, Graham and the kids have gotten to bond more and it's always nice to visit with Joe's dad. Anyway, we got home last night and I had gotten a text message from Adelaide wondering if we would like to meet up with her and Bill for lunch today. I made sure it was okay that we brought the kids along, so we scheduled to meet just after midday at a local restaurant.
"Hi! It's been so long!" Adelaide greeted, giving me a hug.
"I know!" I laughed, returning the hug.
"How are you?" She asked.
"We're good. Cleared up what happened last time we met up, sorry about that, by the way," I apologised.
"Minx, don't apologise, as long as you're okay," Adelaide smiled, "Anyway, I'm assuming this is Noelle and Noah?"
"Yeah, say 'Hi,'" I encouraged Noelle.
"Hi," She smiled happily.
"Aw, she's so cute," Bill laughed lightly.
Joe held Noelle on his lap and Noah was in a highchair again.
"Anyway, we just wanted to catch up with you and see how you're doing?" Adelaide smiled.
"Yeah, we're great now," I smiled, "See, there was a scenario a while back with another guy who was really possessive and I guess I let him consume my mind in a way, so I was still dealing with all of that. But now everything's all better," I smiled.
"That's good to hear," Bill smiled.
"So, anything new with you two?" I asked.
"Not that much. We found out a couple weeks ago that I'm infertile, so I can't have children," She said solemnly.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," I comforted her, "Adopting is still always an option and is amazing as well."
"Yeah, Bill and I have been thinking about that maybe," She smiled, "Or possibly a surrogate too. We've been thinking about surrogates, but a lot of the people we know that have offered, haven't ever had a child before."
"That's a good idea though," I smiled.
We continued talking about Adelaide's and Bill's future together and having babies.
"I don't know why we don't hang out more often!" Adelaide smiled, giving me a hug as we finished eating and got ready to leave.
"I know, life just gets away from us sometimes," I laughed lightly.
"Well, I'll definitely be in more contact and we can get together more often," She smiled.
I agreed and gave her a hug before we parted ways and Joe and I buckled the babies in the car.
"Do you want to go wander around some shops?" Joe asked.
"Yeah, sure," I smiled, leaning over the middle console to give Joe a kiss.
Joe drove us to the shops and we put Noah in the pushchair as we wandered around.
Joe picked up some clothes to get and I did the same. We ended up buying a lot of clothes, Joe and I each got some and then we went to the toddlers' clothing section and bought a lot of clothes for the kids.
"Mama," Noah cooed.
I leaned over to look at him in the pushchair as he drifted to sleep.
"ThatcherJoe, oh my God!"
"Hi," Joe greeted the small group of fans.
"We love your videos so much!"
"I love you, Joe!"
