I've only been out of the closet a couple of months, but it wasn't very harsh for me because i have accepting and loving family and most of my friends are gay or very accepting.
this is not for everyone, and I'm not talking about the smooth coming out. I'm talking about the love and support my family and friends were able to give me because of their acceptance.
imagine what it must feel like to stop being friends with someone because you find out they're gay. how heart breaking must that be. how terrible would it be to have to do that. to go through all of that pain for no apparent reason. -or to throw your child out of your house because they come out. how must that feel? i imagine it would be dreadful. I don't think i would survive if i had to throw my child onto the street or abuse it without a reason.

homophobia is one of the scariest but at the same time strangest things for me. I'm not the type of gay you notice immediately so i can stay pretty incognito at school, but i have friends who aren't so fortunate.
last week i was walking through the hallway at school with a guy friend of mine who is gay. we were just chatting and walking and suddenly someone throws a cup of water at him. just like that. it was not someone we knew, not even their face, but they knew him. 'that blue(-haired) fag'
and this is in a country where gay marriage has been legal for years and years and years. this is in a country where gay is okay. apparently it is not.

where did you get the idea from that you are allowed to break people up. do you know how hard it is to find someone who actually likes you back in the first place?!
ok so imagine you do meet someone after years of singleness and loneliness (I'm not saying single is lonely but just for the sake of the story~hush) and you like them and after months of awkwardness you finally take up the guts to confess. guess what? they like you back. you're a couple. you're in love. that's goals right there. and then some random stranger comes along and tells you you can't be together because of your gender.

yes, the bible says gay is wrong. you know what else the bible says? no sex without children. no birth control, that is. you know what else the bible says? if you cheat on your partner they are allowed to lapidate you. yep that's right. throw stones at you until you die. you know what else the bible says? you should pray every day. you should not eat pigs. you should be kind to the people around you.
-AND I DON'T SEE YOU DOING ALL THOSE THINGS.
you can't just pick and choose what rules you wish to apply, dumb ass.
