heart i give you mine

137 33 32

i have five lines, i want to make them count, for me

do not waste words, i think now , do not waste words

and more than not waste words, let's not please, waste time

time is what we do not have and it breaks mine, it breaks my heart in two

one piece is for me and one piece is for you

i sit stone still and think of you and what you do

birds are noisy here and there and i can feel their cries

i am writing this one for you and for me

what is it that i want to say, what is it i mean to say to you and for me too

i have five lines, i want to make them count, for me

this is the last thing i want to write, about fate and pain

the saddest is we and the gladdest is we

together and apart, please give that our world would shrink

that what i mean to say is every day you dawn in my eyes with the sun

do not waste words, i think now, do not waste words

how can i be happy when all i think is to be sad

how do you do it with your smile, (although i've heard you roar)

do not answer, for i have to try harder to be grateful for this precious;

i fear to say that maybe you know i have heard you roar, i know you feel this pain

and more than not waste words, let's not please, waste time

i have to fasten you to my body, also to look in your eyes

i want enough time for our chests to merge,

two hearts to beat for one, one heart to beat for two, for me, for you

i need to hear what you have to say, i need to lay my head upon that heart

time is what we do not have and it breaks mine, it breaks my heart in two

in the perfect world i recognized you long ago for me

in the perfect world we have spent nine hundred years together, more await

in our perfect world now there is you and i belonging, complete

we will say nothing these times, though i hear you speak in tongues divided

one piece is for me and one piece is for you
