"Alright, bud, I have no idea why you brought me out here, but I guess it's a good place to search for new dragons." Hiccup jumped of his Night Fury and fixed his hair, for it had been blown back by the wind. He examined the new island, which was extremely leafy and completely covered with different shades of green plants and wildlife.

"Well, it seems like we have a lots to discover, so I'll guess we'll be here a while," Hiccup decided, beckoning Toothless over so the two could explore together.

Many miles away . . .

The decorating of the Great Hall was officially in full swing. Streamers and ribbons were flying everywhere, children were laughing and testing out food (I mean, could you really imagine them doing any other job?); there was also a band that Stoick had found, that were testing out old folk songs to play at the party.

"Astrid, how's the banner coming along?" you asked, not taking your eyes off the food table that you were monitoring. Two yak legs had already gone missing - you weren't entirely sure, but you had a feeling that either Snotlout or the twins were the culprit.

"It's coming great, (y/n)!" Astrid called from the ladder. She and Fishlegs had both worked on the banner and were now currently hanging it over the entrance of the Great Hall.

"Yo, (y/n), what time is it?" Snotlout asked you. You ran to one of the windows and checked the sky. It was starting to get dark; you had specifically told Toothless to get Hiccup back before twilight - and twilight was starting to fall (A/N: It already did. XDDDDD*).

Soon, the Great Hall was completely covered in colours, treats and streamers. All that was missing was the birthday boy.

C'mon, Toothless, you thought worriedly, get him back, already.

"Alright, bud," Hiccup found the place where he and Toothless had landed, turning to his dragon, "although, this place is cool an' all, there's nothing new here, and it's getting dark anyway. We should start heading back."

Toothless nodded in agreement and, although Hiccup didn't notice, 'smirked' slightly as he knew that the plan was falling perfectly into place. He let his master board him and the shot off into the sky.

Many miles awa--Ugh! You already know! . . .

As Hiccup and Toothless finally landed, the sun had finally gone down, causing the sky to darken into a navy blue.

Hiccup jumped off of the Night Fury and his stomach immediately started growling. He looked down and placed his hand over the loud organ.

"Ugh, I haven't eaten all day," Hiccup sighed, trudging over to the Great Hall, beckoning Toothless to follow him.

"C'mon, bud, let's get something to eat," he said. Toothless followed, but hung back a little, secretly showing his gummy smile behind Hiccup's back.

As Hiccup pushed open the Hall doors, he squinted at the sudden light, before his eyes widened at what was in front of him.

"SURPRISE!" The Berkians cried, giving massive smiles as the birthday boy just stood their shocked and amazed.

"What?" you asked, stepping forward. "You didn't seriously forget it was your birthday today, did you?"
