Recovery in progress

I'm getting better.

Days are getting brighter.

Even when rains come,

And I hit the ground a little harder.

It won't get the better of me.

Cause I'm a fighter, a survivor.

I have clawed out of the depths

And I'm not stopping here,

I'm on my way to the top

No one can stop me now except for me.

These scars don't scare me.

These memories don't haunt me.

I know these freinds will stand by me.

I've done many things

But its in the past,

Remembering is fine,

As long as I keep my mind and soul headed towards the horizon there isn't anything in my way.
