Akatsuki Orphan

Chapter 1~ The Beginning

Me: Hiya! Mangareader90 here!

Samanthasf: Samamtha here!

Sasuke: Hn.

Sakura: I'm here, cha!

Akatsuki members: Akatsuki is here.

Me: As you all know, I am writing an Akatsuki fan fiction! My very first one!

Sasuke: Great accomplishment, you succeeded in nothing.

Me: Ignoring that comment, this story might have a sequel to it. Maybe, I have three other Naruto stories, two that I MIGHT have a sequel to so I am going to wait and see how much people like this story to see if I'll make a sequel.

Samanthasf: That's great and all manga, but aren't you forgetting something?

Me: Oh, yeah! Thanks for reminding me! This chapter is dedicated to Samantha for helping me decide between writing this story, and two other stories.

Pein: Why would Akatsuki even need an orphan?

Me: Don't you need more help with what you're doing?

Pein: Good point.

Konan: And it's a girl! A little girl! I can be an older sister!!

Hidan: Whatever, I might sacrifice the little b**** if you're not too careful Konan.

Konan: Do that and I'll kill you.

Kakuzu: I can use her cuteness for money, I can pretend that she's homeless and people will give her money feeling sorry for her, which she will give to me.

Me: Okay, that's greedy to use a little girl for money, but okay.

Tobi: Tobi has a new sister to play with!

Deidara: I can teach her true art, un!

Sasori: You'll do nothing to screw up her view on art.

Me: NO FIGHTING ON ART WHEN IN THE DISCLAIMER!! DO IT IN THE STORY!!!!

Sasori: Fine.

Deidara: Whatever, yeah!

Kisame: I can teach the shrimp how to fight!!

Me: Good idea, Itachi, Zetsu, anything to put in this?

Itachi: No, as long as she's not a nuisance, I don't care.

White Zetsu: I promise I won't eat her.

Black Zetsu: I DON'T.(black Zetsu is talking in caps, not bold.)

Me: Harsh, and no you won't Zetsu! Anyways, someone please do the disclaimer!

Samanthasf: That's one reason I agree on coming here! Mangareader90, who might change her name to Anbulicious because a certain friend of hers *cough* Lucylucylooo *cough* has been dropping hints that she should change her name to that awesome name, doesn't own Naruto.

Pein: If she did then we'd apparently have another member.

Me: Yup! Now, onto the story!

*Konan POV*

Pein and I were walking in a forest close to our newest base when we came upon a small figure covered with a worn out, black blanket.

It seemed like it was human. Pein approached it with a kunai and I stayed where I was. He bent down slowly and lifted the blanket to reveal a small child with light green hair and a tattered black shirt with gray slacks, and white socks. Without shoes, just socks.

Pein paused for a moment and looked back at me.

"Should I kill it?" Pein asked me.

"What?! No! Let's take her with us, she could be useful later on Pein," I told Pein, walking towards the sleeping child and lifting her small body up.

She coiled into me and presumed lightly snoring. I chuckled. Pein walked over towards me.

"What use would we have of a child?" Pein asked me.

"Power? I don't know Pein, she reminds me of us when we were young, without anyone for her to count on. At least we had each other and Yahiko, Nagato," I told Pein as I looked up into his rinnegan eyes.

"Hmm, I suppose you're right Konan. Plus she might hold power in that tiny body of hers," Pein told me.

"Should we get her other things?" I asked Pein.

He looked back at her things and shook his head in disgust.

"What things does she have here that are not replaceable?" Pein asked me.

I walked over to her small pile of things and saw a little sack of personal items, a bracelet that had the kanji for hope, a photo album, a sketch pad, chocolate, a stuffed wolf, and quite a few books.

I picked up the sack and slung it over my shoulder.

"She may want the things in this sack, we can leave the other stuff though, lets go. The others are probably there already," I told Pein.

"That would be wise," Pein told me.

We started walking off and Pein asked me something that I had been wondering myself.

"What happened to her family?"

"I don't know," I responded, looking down at our sleeping bundle who was smiling and snuggling closer into me.

One word escaped her mouth.

"Mother."

*back at the Akatsuki base*

We arrived at the Akatsuki base and walked into the building just as everyone just so happened to walk into the living room.

They all looked at the small child in my arms and they started asking questions.

"Sweet! A new sacrifice for my jashin-sama!" Hidan told me.

"She looks rather TASTY," Zetsu said.

"Why is there a brat in your arms?" Sasori asked, he was out of his puppet.

"Can Tobi play with little girl-chan?" Tobi asked me, bouncing up and down.

"Is she going to cost any money?" Kakuzu asked me. Of course.

"The little shrimps a bit young to join Akatsuki, so why is she here?" Kisame asked.

"Can I use her for experiments?" Orochimaru asked me.

"Can Tobi play with little girl-chan?" Tobi asked me.

"EVERYONE SHUTUP AND LET KONAN SPEAK!" Pein shouted.

Everyone quickly shut their mouths and waited for me to respond.

"Thank you Pein, Hidan if you so much as poke her, let alone sacrifice her to your fake god, I will cut your a** up and feed it to piranhas, Zetsu if I come back one day and find her missing I will personally kill you, We found her in the forest, she's a living being Kakuzu, she will cost money to feed and shelter, so stop being such a tightwad, she's here because we couldn't just leave a little girl alone to die in the forest and we have no idea how she got there, Orochimaru if you go near her I kill you, okay? Tobi, no you cannot. Any more questions?" I finished.

Everyone shook their heads.

"Good, now if you'll excuse me, I'm hungry and I need food," I told them as I started to walk off.

Before I could even take two steps the little girl in my arms woke up and once she saw me she jumped out of my hands and landed on the ground.

"Where am I exactly?" the little girl asked, looking around. When she spotted the Akatsuki members she blushed and looked around for places to hide.

"You're in the Akatsuki hideout, what's your name, where're you from, and why were you in the woods?" I asked her.

"My name is Tukiko, from Konohagakure, as for why I was in the woods........why should I tell you?" the little girl told me.

"Brat! Just tell us already," Hidan yelled at her.

I saw her flinch and glare at him. They had a mini glaring contest. She sighed.

"I ran away from my older brother, thank you for picking me up, but I need to go now before he can track me, please hand me my bag back," Tukiko said. She held out her hand and looked at me.

"Why'd you run away, shrimp?" Kisame aske her.

She snapped her head in his direction.

"Well fish face, I don't like being abused," Tukiko spat out.

"Abused?" Pein asked her.

"I don't feel like telling you my life story, it's not very long either, I'm only five and I only remember what happened for the last two years....anyways, please hand me my bag, I think I have chocolate in there that I can use right now," Tukiko said.

"How about this, we keep you, give you food and shelter for the rest of your life, and in turn you tell us about your past and you work for us when you get older, deal?" I asked her.

She looked at me and she had a distant look in her eyes.

"Mother?" She asked me.

"Umm, sure,"" I told her.

"Deal!" She replied.

I handed her bag back to her and she unzipped it really quick, pulled out a chocolate bar and gulped it down quickly.

"Hungry, little girl?" Orochimaru asked her.

She looked up and grabbed her bag then ran behind me.

"You creep me out, don't talk to me," Tukiko said from behind me.

The other Akatsuki members started chuckling. Orochimaru got an anime vein and just walked away. I laughed at that, I really didn't like Orochimaru to be honest.

"What kind of f*** ing little girl has green hair?" Hidan asked Tukiko, sitting on one of the chairs in the living room.

"What's wrong with green? I think green is a great color! Besides, I don't think you're one to talk with your silver hair!" Tukiko told Hidan.

Hidan sat up and smiled.

"See?! The little b**** knows that it's silver and not gray!!!!" Hidan exclaimed.

"Oh great, new nicknames," Tukiko said.

I chuckled and lifted her up.

"As long as I'm staying here I should probably tell you not to double cross me. I'm really used to it by now. The only one I trust here is this blue lady! Speaking of which, what are your guys's names?" Tukiko asked with wonder in her eyes.

"Sasori."

"Kisame, squirt."

"Hidan, b****."

"ZEtsu."

"My name is Pein but you call me leader."

"Tobi is Tobi!"

"Kakuzu, don't touch my money."

"My name is Konan, but you can call me nee-chan or kaa-san, or simply sister or mother if you'd like," I told her, smiling.

"Good to meet you all, if you give me a nickname I don't like, in return I'll give you a nickname you don't like. Kakuzu, I won't touch your money if you don't touch mine, Konan you are my new mother!" Tukiko said, clinging on to me.

"You have money?" Kakuzu asked Tukiko.

"Surprisingly enough, when people see a five year old girl walking in nothing but rags around all by herself, they tend to want to give her money," Tukiko answered him.

"Five years old, you look like your seven," Sasori told her.

"I'm pretty sure I'm five, last time I checked my birthday was one week ago, the day my parents were found dead and I ran away, it was such a memorable birthday for the one who gave birth to me to die," Tukiko said with sarcasm.

"Well that sounds like it sucked," Kisame said.

"It did, now, mother. To the kitchen!!" Tukiko said, pointing her little hand towards the kitchen doorway.

I laughed and headed towards the kitchen with her in my arms.

"Do you guys have any sushi?" Tukiko asked me.

"Kisame does, but I doubt he'll let you have it," I told her honestly.

Kisame walked in.

"I heard my name," Kisame said.

"Can I pwease eat wour swushi (can I please eat your sushi)?" Tukiko asked him, giving him puppy dog eyes.

Kisame stiffened and stared at her for five seconds before heading to the fridge and tossing her a package with six pieces in them. He then left without saying anything else.

"Succes!" Tukiko said. She jumped out of my arms and ran to the table where she has to climb onto the chair just to sit down. She couldn't see beyond the table though, so I ran and got a piece of wood for her to sit on.

"Thanks mother!" Tukiko told me.

"Your welcome, you can call me mom, you don't have to call me mother, you know," I told Tukiko.

She smiled at me and then began to eat like she hasn't eaten in a year.

"I'm tired! Where do I sleep?" Tukiko asked me.

"You'll sleep in my room," I told her.

"Carry me,mommy?" Tukiko asked me, lifting her arms up. I held her up and began walking towards my room.

I opened the door and went over to my bed, I put her down and put the covers over her. She yawned and looked up at me.

"Night mommy, thank you," Tukiko told me. She then fell asleep.

I chuckled to myself. If only she knew that I was happy she was here, I finally had another girl in the Akatsuki!

I sighed and went towards Pein's office. I knocked on the door and he said 'come in'. I walked in and saw him doing paperwork.

"Konan, is she getting along well with the others?" Pein asked me.

"I just put her to sleep so she hasn't really had time with the others yet," I answered him honestly.

"I have a feeling you wanted her also because you wanted another girl in the Akatsuki," Pein told me.

"That's half true, I also wanted a daughter!" I joked with him.

He chuckled and looked up from his paperwork.

"Do we know who her brother is?"

"No, not yet at least, but we will Pein."

"I would think so. It's getting pretty late, you should sleep too Konan," Pein told me.

I sighed and left. I headed towards my room and saw Zetsu sitting next to Tukiko.

"What the h*** are you doing in my room?" I asked him.

He didn't look up, instead he pointed his left hand towards the other side of the room. Where Orochimaru was passed out at.

"Thank you, Zetsu. Please take Orochimaru and leave. If you can beat him up again for me that'd be great," I told him.

He nodded, grabbed Orochimaru and left. I walked over towards my side of the bed and layed down before going to sleep.

Me: Yeah, the next chapter will be way better, trust me!

Samanthasf: Okay, anyways, why'd it take you so long to update?

Me: It just did.

Samanthasf: Oh.

Pein: We heard that tomorrow is your birthday manga, so we thought we'd say something.
