There was once a man named Arthur Forester whose only way of life to survive this cruel world is to keep obeying his master and to stay as an assassin who'd kill anyone his master desired him to erase until he had one particular mission which tested his loyalty to his master as he had found hope from the person his master wanted to kill.

He couldn't deliver himself to murder the rightful heir of the White Flower Organization, an organization that helps the poor and had been a huge advocate of peace between all nations but just like any other companies, they have enemies and one of the great fiends of it is his master.

He had fallen in-love with the real heir without him knowing, as what everyone knows was that the heir for it was Darius Kingsley, a genius boy that was quickly accepted to study Law in a very young age of eighteen.

Darius accepted the job long ago to protect his closest friend and as a butler to her, Avalon as he had been told that one day, she would be targeted by someone and the only clue was to be the heir of White Flower Organization.

To protect Avalon, he accepted to be a decoy. Many people were deceived by that lie but Arthur overheard the truth in a banquet where Darius and Avalon were talking at each other.

Earlier that day, he had prepared a wine with poison to kill Avalon, for her not to witness him kill Darius due to an order. When it was presented to be a gift to both of them, she was about to drink it but he comes closer to them, takes the glass and bottle of wine and throws it away, surprising the two of them and reveals to them that it has poison, making him more suspicious in the eyes of Darius.

Darius knew that he had to investigate his past and his life.

Arthur leaves the banquet with fear in his heart and is overwhelmed with it that if his master learns the truth of the White Flower Organization's lie, he would have no choice but to kill her but when Darius found out soon enough that he was sent as an assassin to kill him, Darius persuaded him to kill him to protect Avalon.

He also knows that the only person who could protect her is Arthur and he knows that he had fallen in-love with her and that he could never bring himself to kill her, so, he knows what he has to do to protect both of his friends even it gives it pain and suffering.

Just like as he had expected, Arthur tells him that he can't bring himself to kill him but Darius decision can't be stopped already. He wanted to die for the sake of Avalon's safety. He shoots him inside the warehouse and Darius smiles with contentment in his lips.

Suddenly, he hears a sound and sees that Avalon had witnessed him kill Darius.

His cold attitude drew Avalon closer to him, not further away from him. When she finally learns all about the truth about everything and Darius's reason why he sacrificed himself for her, she tells him that to free him from his master's grasp, she had to face her and she probably knows who his master is. She tells him that she wanted to meet her even though it might bring her into more danger.

When they finally meet, she couldn't believe that she was right. Arthur's master was his father's first wife who sought for revenge from all the pain that his father inflicted on her. Both had a heated argument but before she pulls the trigger, Arthur uses himself as a shield, wounding his left arm. With that, she chases them and Arthur did all of his best to protect her with all his might but without them, knowing, Avalon's father followed them.

She stops chasing the two when she sees Avalon's father in front of her, begging her to stop her madness but when she doesn't and wouldn't want to follow him, it pains him to do it but he had to kill her to save his daughter's life. He was also about to kill himself but Avalon run quickly to him and hugs him that stops him from his suicide attempt.

By then, Arthur was finally free from the curse he had after he had become a war orphan and was taken away by his master who only taught him is to kill.

With Avalon beside him, the emotions that he thought was lost were back like rainbow. He was finally at peace and he had finally a reason to live and protect.
