But it's not just the U.S. that has been getting attention.
I listen to other voices translated to English say things like: "Paris is black," "The whole city of Tokyo has been bombed," "London is under severe power outages and assaults on citizens," "Revolt has broken out in Bolivia," and tons of others.

Images of people beating the living daylights out of each other, buildings on fire, destruction in mass numbers, police shooting at violent citizens, bodies scattering across the ground, and smoke filling the skies of so many places in the world cover the sight before us.
I look around me at all of us whose faces look horrified at what they're seeing. This is so much larger than we anticipated... and it's taking everything. Nowhere is safe.
"My God..." Banner whispers...
"Did they say 'Hydra'?" Rogers asks with wide eyes.
"Hydra works for that lunatic?" Barton asks.
"What's Hydra?" Banner asks.
"An organization that was established in the early twentieth century that worked for a man named Johann Schmidt. But we thought it was ended after his death in World War II," Natasha says.
"Hydra was destroyed. I watched Schmidt get blown to pieces," Steve says.
"They must have found another cause," Natasha says.
"What cause?" Clint asks.
"To take the winning side of the universe," Stark answers and turns to face us.
I think back to what Nebula had said to me in Stark Tower. Then to the picture in the files that Steve had shown me on the craft earlier. My eyes widen. "Oh my gods. Guys, back in Stark tower, Nebula told me that thanks to Hydra, she had infiltrated every secret organization in existence. Steve, that's why we saw the picture of the man in the Hydra uniform in those files! Hydra has been helping Nebula all along. And... and that's where the other cause comes in. Nebula wants to destroy this realm and others. So if Hydra is on her side, then they are on the winning team."
People exchange looks of worry.
"Look, I wanna know who this, 'Nebula' is right now," Rogers says.
