Boruto pov
I dont know how but I maneged to grab a hold of sarada's hand and I was running.*ba-dump* I think they saw us! I turned around to check on her.she was fine,but she had a confused look on her face.shes cute even when were in danger. *blush* I turn quickly back.I hope she didn't see me. After a few minutes of running I stop behind a bolder.*pant pant* I turn once again to look at her.The sunlight shines of her glasses just enough to make us an easy target."Sarada...can you take of your glasses?" I say calmly."why?"she says with a little hint of paranoia in her voice.I have two reasons
1.the easy target thing
2. And the main reason I have never seen her without her glasses off!!! Even though we have know each other forever
Obviously im going to tell her the first reason"Sarada,your glasses,they create a glare which makes us easier to spot".I say as I reach over and take her glasses off slowly,as if disabling a bomb -same amount of danger-While doing that my face slowly begins to grow hot and she starts blushing.
I finally manage to take them off,revealing a barely noticeable tan line.
I got closer to her face, so close I can hear her breathing,hear her heart beat faster,almost hear her whisper, I love you... yet I know the last part was just a figment of my imagination,and that it probably wont happen anytime soon.
*ba-dump* I open my eyes.I realize I still haven't changed my position.We were both just staring at each other.As if this was natural.I stared right into those pich black eyes of hers.The more I did the more of an urge I had to kiss her.To simply speak to her through her lips.I got closer putting my hand on her check. It was warm. I closed my eyes and leaned in but-
I had stopped in my tracks.I opened my eyes to see her reaction.she was once again confused.or at least that's how it seemed. I quickly leaned back and moved to the other side of the bolder without a word.*blush* I was so close to... *sigh*"hey-y...um b-boruto...?
