what's happening?

Cole P.O.V

"It's the cops, run!" I heard the girl, I was dancing with before, scream. I didn't know what to do? Or how to get out of this situation, if I get caught by the feds on my first day here I will be sent back home. We all will be and I don't want to leave already, this place is calm compared to our old town. I could see panic all around us and flashing lights coming towards us, I looked around for Tyler and Hadrian, I instantly saw them near Lexi. I ran towards them.

"Take the Audi with the guys and take them back home, I'll get rid of the cops" Lexi said as she threw her keys to the Aaron dude, with that she jumped back into the car that she raced in and drove off. Brave and got, she's a keeper.

BEEEEEEEEEP!

I turned around to notice that all the boys were shouting for me to get into the car, I jumped in the back and Aaron drove off. Hadrian, Tyler and I were in the back, Aaron was driving and Robert was in the front.

"What the hell?!" Tyler huffed.

"Don't worry this always happens every time we organise a street race, Lex always takes the fall and purposely stalls and gets caught for us, so don't worry man"! Robert explained

"Why does she take the blame?" I said as Aaron drove rapidly to try get out of the scene.

"Because she is used to getting arrested, plus she doesn't care and her parents always pay for her to get out the next day." Aaron informed us.

"Wow..." I was pretty speechless.

"I know. Anyways, even though you have just met us all, wanna join us tomorrow? My house and it's a small party just for us?"- Aaron asked me and the boys.

"Sure." Hadrian agreed straight away.

"Where do you live?" I asked him.

"Don't worry about that. Lexi will give you a ride." Robert reassured me.

"How do you know she will be able to come, especially after today?" I asked curiously

"She always does with or without permission. Anyway, what's with all the questions about Lexi? It seems like someone has a tiny crush on her" Robert sarcastically said looking directly at me.

We looked directly at each other for 10 seconds with a serious look on both of our faces eyeing eachother.

"Is it that obvious?" I muttered.

"YES!" all 4 boys chorused and laughed. I just looked out the window trying not to show the guys my now burning red cheeks.

"It's okay, calm down. We all know she is BEAUTIFUL. But be careful, she just had a bad break up and if you hurt her... you have us to answer to" Aaron sternly warned. I just shifted awkwardly and laughed because I know that I'd never dream of hurting Lexi.

"Here you go, home sweet home!" Aaron parked up outside our house.

"Thanks bro, come in?" I said

"Nah I'm off home to look after my sister" Aaron smiled.

"Alright, thanks again, see you tomorrow." Hadrian was clearly trying to act cool.

We got out the car and watched the car speed off. Today has got to be one of the best days ever: I met a cute girl who is my neighbour and is my type, made loads of new friends who seem cool and got invited to 3 house parties and have all the girls falling for me - I love it.

The boys and walked in only to find our house empty.

"I guess mom and dad are still next door." Hadrian stated the obvious as we all jumped onto the couch and started eating some left over pizza that was on the table.

"I think I love it here." Tyler changed the subject.

"You think? I know that this was made for us" I said as I reached for a PS3 controller.

Hadrian and Tyler just laughed and nodded their heads in agreement and reached for a controller each.

I wonder where Lexi is now? I thought to myself.

Lexi P.O.V

I wake up to see a light shining right onto my face.

"SOMEONE CLOSE THE DAMN CURTANS!" I hissed, not taking in my surroundings.

"Lexi are you awake? Brian's here to take you." Someone said as they rattled their keys into what sounds like a door... wait .... Where am I ? I instantly opened my eyes.

I Look around only to find myself once again in prison, I swear this like the 100th time I've woken up to be here.

I could see Brian walking towards the door.

Brian is my social worker, who also works for the police, he is sorta like my dad now, he always picks me up from here, bails me out and treats me to coffee after he picks me up. No one knows about him though except my mom , dad and Hope.

"Lexi, this is like the 100th time you've been in here. When are you going to stop?! I picked up your stuff and put them in the car, let's go, your parents want to talk to you" he informed me as I slowly got up.

When I got up I fell back down and squealed out in pain, I had this sharp pain in my stomach and neck and couldn't move. Brian quickly ran towards me and helped me up.

"Lexi are you okay? That's what you get for drinking, come on lets go" I swear every time he asks me a question he never lets me answer, before he carries on! Oh well. He led me out of the prison, the rest was a blur, all I remember was me getting carried out and into a car who I assume is Brian's. After what seemed like hours we parked up and I could hear someone walking up to the car screaming... yup, it was my mom. She opened the door indicating for me to climb out but due to the pain in my stomach and neck I just laid there.

"LEXI GET OUT OF THE CAR THIS INSTANT" my mom screamed way too loudly

I just laid there, I tried moving but I couldn't, my hangover hasn't ever been this bad before why can't I move? I thought to myself

"I'M GOING TO COUNT TO 3 AND IF YOU'RE NOT OUT THE CAR THEN GOD HELP ME YOU WON'T SEE WHATS COMING NEXT"! She screamed once again, but this time I could now hear my dad rushing over.

"1"she counted, I tried moving but nothing,

"Darling" my dad tried to butt in

"2" she carried on shooing away my dad,

"Hun, I don't think she can" he looked at me with pain in his eyes, he could tell I couldn't move.

"3!" she screamed! With that she dragged me out the car, my whole body was now burning up in pain, I screamed at the top of my voice and collapsed onto the floor.

My body was now shaking viciously and I couldn't stop, my eyes were closing slowly and I was gasping for air, I don't know what was happening, it felt like my lungs were closing up and I couldn't breath.
dad and Brian rushed towards me ...I blacked out

I could see flashing lights racing towards me, and people surrounding me, I could taste blood in my mouth and I could hear people on my street rushing about, I opened my eyes a bit and saw all four boys who live next door and their parents with my mom standing above me. That's when it all turned black.

I woke up again only to feel the paramedic's hands lifting me onto the ambulance. I once again blacked out.
