Azusa x Male! Reader x Tsubaki

A Day Out

"I finished the daily report" Azusa announced, handing you the papers. Azusa often helped you with your class duties as well since you got stuck with the job of being the class representative.

"Ah, thanks. I'll bring this to the teacher as well after I finish..." you didn't bother looking up. It was the start of a new semester where you were finally getting used to being around Azusa all the time. As you were finishing up the paper, the rooms' door slammed open, Azusa's brother walking in.

"Hello!" he greeted the room, a big grin on this face. You glanced up at him a bit but decided to go ahead and ignore him as you finished the paper. "Awh, you're ignoring me again (Y/N)?" he walked over, peeking over your shoulder. "What's this for?" he inquired.

"Tsubaki, at least let him finish up first" Azusa said, frowning at his brother. As he said that you put your pen down.

"Look, he's done" Tsubaki smiled, hugging you from behind. "(Y/N), let's hang out today. You can come by our place and we can play video games."

"Tsubaki, I have to turn these papers in to the teacher. Let go" you looked at Tsubaki then at Azusa. Azusa nodded his head and pulled him off you.

"Azusa, that's no fair" Tsubaki pouted after you left. "You get to hang out with (Y/N) after school everyday yet whenever I ask to hang out with him, he says no."

"It's not like he lets me hang out with him after school either you know. I can only be with him like this because we're part of the student council" Azusa shook his head. "It's nothing special."

"I want to join too" Tsubaki sighed.

You sat up, your hair a bit of a mess and turned your head slightly to the clock. "I'm going to be late..." you stood up, stretching as you got your jacket on and fixed your hair a bit before heading into town. 

On the way to the theater, you glanced in the window of a video game store. A poster for a new video game was hung, and you couldn't help but notice Tsubaki's and Azusa's names on the poster. Apparently they voice acted for the video game, and you couldn't help but be impressed. You hoped you could do something fun like that when you got out of college. You continued on your way after being lost in thought, seeing Azusa in the distance.

"I didn't keep you waiting, did I?" you looked up at a nearby street clock. Azusa shook his head.

"No, it's fine, you didn't keep me waiting at all. I just got here" Azusa said. You had a feeling he was lying, not that it bothered you too much. You looked at the posters outside the theaters entrance and pointed at a poster that seemed to be some sort of action movie.

"Is this what you wanted to see?" you asked. It seemed like a movie he'd be interested in anyway. Azusa shook his head though and pointed to a movie that seemed to still be an action movie, but a romantic movie as well.

"I'm voice acting for a new game, and the game has a lot of romance elements in it. Sorry, we can watch the other movie if you want" you quickly shook your head. Either way, you would watch either movie with him.

"It's fine, let's just go see this one."

Getting your tickets and going in, you noticed some familiar figures sitting in the middle of the room. They noticed you as well and one ran up to you. It was Wataru.

"(Y/N) onii-san, come sit with us!" Wataru smiled happily knowing you were here, taking your hand and leading you to the seat next to Ema. Ema smiled and waved slightly at you as you took your seat next to her, Wataru sitting next to you leaving Azusa to sit on the other side of Wataru. You couldn't tell in the dark room, but it didn't seem like Azusa was too happy with that. The next two hours you stared up at the screen, not really into the movie much. Later, the four of you exited the theater. Ema seemed to be really happy, talking to Wataru a lot about the movie. You looked over at Azusa who was standing next to you.

"So what did you think of the movie?" he looked down at you.

"...Meh" was the only word you could come up with to describe how you felt about it. "It was a nice change I guess, watching movies that is."

Ema turned back to you guys, waving you guys over. Once there, she pointed at a cafe across the street. "Since we're all here, let's go try the cafe over there. I haven't really gotten a chance to talk to you much..." Ema smiled. You accepted the invitation and went along with her, Azusa following behind. Azusa hurried into a seat next to you when the four of you went inside, Ema and Wataru sitting across from the two of you. "So... I know you already knew Azusa and all before in middle school. If you don't mind me asking, how did you two meet?" Ema asked, ordering a sundae when the waiter came up.

"Azusa one day decided to help me with my school president papers after school. But... I'm not sure why he decided to come in and ask me if I needed help" you looked over at Azusa. He seemed to be thinking about something else, or maybe just listening in for now, not willing to say anything yet as you did the talking.

"Why's that?" Ema asked. You shrugged.

"In Middle School I didn't really care much about having friends... people usually didn't approach me to help me unless they were a girl or something back then" you let out a small sigh. The more you thought about the girls back then, the more you remembered how annoying they could get.

"I see..." Ema looked down at her sundae then up at Azusa.

"I wanted to help him because it seemed like he was lonely. (Y/N) would always stay after school by himself to work on the papers" Azusa looked over at you with a slight smile. "It didn't seem very fun being there all the time by yourself. Plus I wanted to be your friend for awhile back then." he sheepishly admitted. 

"That was nice of you!" Ema smiled happily. Wataru nodded, though he seemed more focused on his sundae than the conversation. Wataru looked over at a poster on the wall of the room, jumping up and pointing at it.

"I want to go there!" he exclaimed happily. On the poster was an advertisement for the grand opening of a brand new amusement park that was to be opened in a few days.

"That sounds like a lot of fun! Maybe I can talk to Ukyo about bringing everyone else along" Ema thought aloud to herself, wondering if it were possible for everyone to come seeing as everyone was pretty busy. Wataru nodded excitedly, really hoping to be able to go there. You just stare blankly at the poster, slightly interested, but at the same time not at all. You've never been to an amusement park for some odd reason, though you couldn't remember why. Possibly because you were busy doing other things as a kid, but you felt like there was some other reason behind it.

"Sounds good, I think I'm available then" Azusa nodded. Everyone finished their sundaes and got up, ready to leave. You just sat there, still trying to figure out what you were forgetting. "Shall we get going?" Azusa asked, looking down at you. You nodded, standing up and walking out with them, after paying for your sundae.
