She shrugged, ''That's pretty much impossible.''

''True that. If they give us a tip, tell them to shove it.''

Linda nodded, taking the hint, ''That's a possibility.'' I grabbed two menus from the counter top and turned back to them. They chose the table, right across mine. My notebook and pens were still sat there and my things were scattered all over the surface. Oliver was looking around the Café and then his gaze settled on mine,

''I didn't know you work here.'' He said, condescendingly.

I placed the menus on the table and took out my pad from the pocket of my apron, I didn't need to say anything, since Melissa liked to do the talking.

''It's her Dad's Café, but Violet doesn't know how to make coffee! Isn't that funny?'' She giggled like an idiot and I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

''What do you want?'' My voice came out a little hostile and only Oliver seemed to notice that.

They took their time with the menus, and the list wasn't even that long.

''Americano for me,'' Oliver said briskly and I took the menu back from him, our fingers touched for briefest seconds but I ignored the buzz I felt and focused on Melissa Corner instead.

''Umm Americano as well.''

''No Cake? We have Muffins too.'' I informed them,

''Too much sugar.'' She replied and I turned away, rolling my eyes.

''Two Americanos, and make me a Mocha.'' I told Linda and kept standing by her instead of going back. She prepared the cups and gave me a pointed look,

''Are you going to stand here?''

''You must be bored.'' I replied dryly, tapping my fingers against the counter top. She gave me a long look and continued making the coffees.

''That girl goes to your school, right? But who is that hottie?'' Linda called every other guy a 'hottie', even when she had a boyfriend of seven years of her own. She was almost done with her Business Degree and planned to marry him soon. We've been waiting for the wedding bells since ages, but Bob hadn't proposed yet.

''He's not that hot.'' I was such a hypocrite when I said that. Linda smirked,

''I don't think they are dating.'' She said,

''Really? What makes you think so?'' I knew they weren't dating as well, but they seemed close already, so they might date in future. Not that I cared.

Linda grinned widely and leaned closer to me, ''He keeps staring at you.''

**

Monday morning, Rhodes and I went to the Camp, with me only half awake. I had spent Sunday Night watching Netflix and fell asleep while my laptop was still turned on. Elliot had woken me up after a massive round of shaking, he was close to dousing me with cold water but my eyes shot open before he could attempt that. That's called killer instincts.

''We can stop for coffee if you want.'' Rhodes said, gently waking me up when the bus stopped.

I rubbed my eyes and groaned, ''No, thanks.'' I replied and got off first. I was still mad at him, well kind of. We walked up to the school with my yawning after every other second and him shaking his head every time I did.

''What?'' I asked him when I caught him biting his lip, trying not to laugh.

''Nothing,'' he said and then added a second later. ''I think you forgot to comb your hair.''
