Jenna's Pov
After yesterday's event, I promised myself to avoid TOP til I am not pissed off with him. My reason is, I cannot stand fighting and arguing with him all the time about the same thing.
To me, he just does not understand the meaning of 'best friends' and I think he should accept that Jiyong and I are like one.
"Um...Jenna?" I spun around to see Bom.
She was standing there fiddling with her phone and seemed to be pretty nervous.
"What is it?" I asked politely despite recalling of her kissing and hugging TOP.
"I wanted to say sorry for making you hurt and I kind of heard that you broke up with him. Am I right?" She said.
"Kind of." I mumbled as I cannot accept the reality of breaking up with him.
"I did what he wanted me to do because I thought that you wouldn't get to this extend. But I was wrong. I'm really sorry." She explained.
"It's ok. It's not your fault." I confessed.
"Thanks for telling me." I added and gave her a weak smile.
"Ok then. See you around!" She said cheerfully before heading back to her working place.
I continued packing and wanted to leave as soon as possible as I cannot stand knowing that TOP is in the same building as me.
I took stairs instead of elevator as I do not want to be bumped into him.
When I was about to reach level one, I saw a male shadow climbing up the stairs. I hesitated to take another step and waited patiently to see who it was. Shoot. It's him.
When we made eye contact, I quickly look away and walk past him like a stranger. I felt guilty for doing it as it hurts me more and I know it hurts him too if he still loves me.
TOP's Pov
Since I do not want to ride the elevator, I took the stairs instead.
When I was climbing up the stairs, I saw a female shadow displaying on the wall. I did not hesitate to take another step and was desperate to find out who she was.
It's her. Jenna.
I felt excitement came over me when knowing that she is there but, I remembered we broke up.
We made eye contact for a while before she looks away. She walked past me casually and ignored me as if I am invinsible.
I went to peep on her as I was curious to know where she was heading. As she walk with her eyes wondering elsewhere, a car was going to approach to her any moment.
I ran towards her like an athelete and grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to me.
After a few seconds, she pushed herself away from me and glared at me with furious eyes.
"What do you think you were doing?!" She yelled at me.
"I was trying to save you from that stupid car!" I yelled back.
"Whatever. You won't care anymore if I'm gone cause I'm nothing to you anymore!" She yelled again.
"No. I didn't think of that!" I yelled at her furiously as she was accusing me.
"Then what?! Tell me now." She demanded.
"Why do you want to know?! You made it clear that we are nothing to each other anymore." I shouted.
She was taken aback and was speechless. I immediately regretted my words and apologised to her.
"Jenna. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that." I said and noticed her eyes were forming tears.
She took a last glance of me and stomped off. I gave a punch to a wall nearer to me and felt anger overcame me.
"Hyung?" I faced to that person like a bull when I heard someone calling me.
"What?!" I asked frustratingly.
"Um..Nothing." Seungri said and ran away from me.
Suddenly, I felt a hand placed on my shoulder and spun me harshly.
"Here take this back!" Jenna placed the bracelet that I bought for her in my hand.
I stared at it blankly.
