Chapter 6

I couldn't comprehend what Lauren just said. I got hit on the head? How can I not remember that? 

Unless...

I press the button to call a nurse in.

Within a few seconds, a nurse walks in with a polite smile on her face. 

'Is everything okay?' she asks me.

I clear my throat, 'How come I don't remember what happened?'

The nurse stands there uncomfortably not knowing what to do. 

'Well?' I raise my left eyebrow waiting for an answer.

'It's not confirmed yet but you must have lost a bit of memory on that fall,' the nurse says, 'This is just what we think though, we just need the results back first to know for sure.'

'Wait, what day is it?' I asked.

'Monday'

The last time I checked it was Friday and I was at work.

'Anything else?' the nurse asks.

I shake my head and the nurse walked out. 

I lay down looking up at the ceiling and closing my eyes for a while. I don't get it. I don't get anything. How did I even hurt my head? How did I end up here? No no no actually who took me here? And who was that guy earlier? God, I can't even comprehend all this. 

I heard the door open and I look up to see a doctor.

'Miss Grayson?' the doctor says looking at me.

I nod and look at him curiously. 

'You hurt your head pretty bad enough to get a slight memory loss. Hopefully soon you will get your memory back, this is just temporary,' he says 'You will be staying overnight and will be discharged tomorrow.'

I nod again, not being able to say anything.

'Here's your painkillers,' the doctor hands me two pills and leaves a glass of water on the table next to me. 'A young gentleman purchased it from the pharmacy for you.'

The doctor smiles and makes his way out closing the door behind him.

I stare at the pills in my hand. Was it the same guy who came earlier? He seemed to be in a mood. Was I supposed to remember him?

Grabbing the glass of water from the table, I swallow the pills and take a big gulp of water downing it all. 

A/N: I'm soo sorry I haven't updated in like so long! I've been busy with school and a hell lot of homework since it's the last year of high school. 

Anyways fuck school, how was this chapter? 

I was thinking maybe I should do Shawn's point of view for the next chapter? To see how he took all this in depth?
