Chapter 16- Learn The Basics Of Fun From Me

Start from the beginning

- Scream really loudly

- Pretend to throw a tantrum

- Make weird noises

- Laugh like crazy

This was horrible, I felt like this was pre-school and the teacher was teaching us Hokey-Pokey step by step, or maybe that, 'If You're Happy And You Know It' song. Even the kids would beat Keith up for insulting fun like that.

Without going through all of them, I tossed them over my shoulder, making them scatter behind me.

Keith's eyes widened, "Why did you do that?" He titled his body to look behind my shoulder at the scattered mess.

"Sorry to break it to you, Keith, but I don't feel like reminding myself of the pre-school days," I told him.

He straightened up and furrowed his eyebrows at me, "What do you mean?"

Finally, biker-dude spoke up, "I'm sorry, man. But I think she's right, those aren't that... fun." He admitted reluctantly.

I smirked as Tar added, "Yeah, sorry Keith,"

He huffed, "So, what do you guys suggest? Do you want to go wild?" Everyone glanced at each other then nodded vigorously at him. Keith nodded, "Well, any ideas?"

Everyone turned to look at me.

I batted my eyelashes innocently, "Why do you guys automatically assume that I'm the one with the plans?"

"You are usually crazy," biker-dude rolled his eyes at me.

"And we're positive you have something in mind," Gal narrowed his eyes at me.

"I'm up for anything right about now," Francine shrugged.

"You told me you had something in mind, let's hear it," Tar chirped.

I smirked at all of them and Keith prodded, "Well...?"

My smirk widened, "If you guys are actually ready..." They nervously glanced at each other.

"I think I'm going to reconsider, now..." Gal said.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Okay, just listen up, wimp. I'm not going to suggest anything that bad,"

Biker-dude had the look of impatience, "Could you please tell us already? We don't have much time,"

I wanted to comment on his curfew, but decided not to. He was right, it would be about time when my mom decided to call me. With her pistols and all.

I could picture it perfectly.

'Where are you, Jess?' Mom demanded.

'Um, at Keith's?' I reply uncertainly.

Suddenly, the ceiling collapsed and I looked up to see my mom in a helicopter, resting a gun on her shoulder as she jumped off the helicopter and into the house.

'You are in big trouble,' She growled, pointing the gun at me.

I dived behind the couch as she started firing like a mad woman, and then Keith comes to me looking all terrified, 'What's wrong with your mom?'

'She's going crazy!' I replied.

Then, she threw the bomb.

"Jess? Come on!" Gal's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

I nodded, "Okay, we're going to play..." I paused for dramatic affect, "Hide and seek around the neighborhood," I scanned their faces.

"What?!" They shouted in unison.

I smirked, "And that's not all,"

Biker-dude scowled, "There's more?"

"How do you suppose one of us is going to be able to find the rest of the gang, in the dark, all by ourselves?" Gal demanded.

"I agree with them, I don't think it's a good idea..." Keith said.

"Guys, she's not done yet," Tar said, then she gestured for me to go on.

I nodded at her, "Thank you. Now as I was saying, there will be two teams. One will hide and the other will seek. The hiding team will scatter around the neighborhood, and hide, while the seeking team will look for them. The hiding team isn't allowed to go too far, and the seeking team will only have 30 minutes to seek them out,"

Tar squealed in excitement, "Sounds fun!"

"Wait, what if the hiding team is not found in the given time? What will they do then?" Francine asked.

I face-palmed, "They'll win, of course!"

"Oh," Francine nodded.

"What happens if one of the team wins?" Biker-dude asked, curiously.

"Well, then they'll come up with the list for the scavenger hunt," I grinned.

"Oh Gosh, that sounds so fun. What will happen after that?" Tar asked giddily.

I shrugged, "I haven't thought about it that far, yet. We'll figure that out after we're done with the games,"

Keith's face broke out into a smile, "I'm in,"

"Me too!" Tar pumped her fist in the air.

"I guess it's better than Truth Or Dare Monopoly," Biker-dude confessed reluctantly, and Keith chuckled.

"I don't mind playing," Francine smiled.

Gal sighed, "Okay, if she's in, I'm in,"

I grinned, "Well, then. Let's take this outside, shall we?"
