POV: Cora

The dance was the only thing on my mind the next day.

"It felt almost as if something changed that night," I spoke into my 'diary' on my iPod, "It happened as we danced, I could never seem to stop thinking about Amadeus. My heart sped up when he was near, I always felt happy. It felt as if I fell deeper in love with him. He was my brother though, right? I'm becoming confused about the way I feel..I just hope it ends in something good." I turn off the iPod and place it back on its stand, making my way to church.

~~POV: Sean~~

I wake from my sleep, deciding to text Cora. Instead of just saying "Hey," like any normal person would do, I decide that I want to prank her.

I know what you did.

I hit send, eager for a reply. It came within seconds.

What?

I giggle, proceding to be mischievous.

Don't play dumb. You know what you did.

I was about to say I was kidding. It was a joke. However, it was not.

What, are you talking about the slow dance?

Rage boiled within me, my hands balled up into fists.

Who did you dance with?

I didn't even need to ask, I already knew the answer.

Amadeus.

That was all she said. She didn't apologize. She probably wasn't sorry anyway. I wanted her to be.

~~POV: Cora~~

That was when I stopped talking to Sean. I wasn't going to talk to him unless he talked first. These two years of hurt had finally gotten to me. I finally realized he wasn't good to me. At this point, I wasn't scared anymore. I was done, ready to accept whatever fait awaited us. No matter what the cost.

I realized that I loved Amadeus. He was the only one who seemed to make me happy these days, and I wasn't sorry for getting close to him. I wasn't sorry for dancing with him or loving him, even though I knew Sean wanted me to be sorry.

I don't regret it one bit. I'm not sorry.
