I screamed, I pounded my fist on the table multiple times.

I clenched my teeth in anger. I'm so mad at myself. Am I going to be this useless for the rest of my life? Be regretful until I die?

Baekhyun-ah!

Her voice echoed again. Her smiling face slowly appeared in my mind again. No, I don't want to regret again. I have enough of regret. Calm yourself, you idiot. You are smarter than this. You can do better than this. You can act better than this.

"So, are you planning to skips school today?" Mom pulled the curtains to the side and look outside. "mh-mhm." I said under my blanket. I don't want my mom to see me with these red puffy eyes. "So, I'll leave the curtains untie. Come down when you're hungry." As if she knows what's happening, she tried to make her footsteps quiet and exited the room.

Why am I skipping school? I asked myself. I'm a coward for avoiding problems. Are you this coward before too, eunchae? I sniffed. But my heart determined to skip school today, for no particular reason except personal reason.

I'll go back to school tomorrow, I thought to myself before slowly drifting to sleep again.

"I'm going now." I said to my mom once I've finished my breakfast. "Be careful." She hugs before I put on my sneakers and walked out. I'm not running late today and I'm grateful for that. I look around me and noticed that the atmosphere is less lively. Maybe because of myself who keeps crying.

I tried to avoid any of the boys or Mark or even Baekhyun. I quickly walked to my class, not wanting to make any eye contacts with anyone. Not that it's necessary. I look straight and walked the noisy hallway when I saw Baekhyun in front of me. He's opening the door to his class but stopped in his track when he saw me.

I look away after one minute and entered my class. Eunji senses something is off and she decided to sits next to me. I don't know how she did that but she did. "Avoiding someone?"

I almost chocked myself when she asked me that. I thought she is a psychologist or something. "You can say that."

She takes out her books and anything related for her to use, then she continued, "I don't know who you are avoiding, maybe 90 percent the person is avoid is that person, but avoiding won't help." She smile at me. "I'm trying to help, so some advice?" She was unsure about the last part, making me smile a bit.

"Thank you."

"You're most welcome."

The teacher keeps on talking and explaining about the topic we're studying today. None of them gets into my mind. I keep thinking to myself. I should face him properly. I couldn't act like a coward. The teacher noticed my mind is absent, he called out for me. "Go Eunchae, what is the biggest star in the galaxy?"

It is unrelated to the topic today but I still answered, "VY Canis Majoris."

"I see that your mind still functions well. Stay focus in my class, dear." He said as he continue teaching.

I walked towards the class where Baekhyun is in. A girl noticed me and approached me as she asked, "Looking for baekhyun? He just went out just now. I don't know where though." She smile. I nodded as I said thanks to her. She bowed before walking back inside the class.

I walked towards the EXO group room but none of them are found there. I was about to give up when I saw he lied down on the grass at the school garden. Debating with myself whether to approach him or not, I silently look at him from behind. He sighed a lot. Then he sits up.

He's frustrated, I thought.

I feel like I shouldn't approach him and look down on the ground, when I saw shadow on the ground i'm looking. I look up and saw him standing in front of me. He looks at me, trying to say something. "Um-" I said, my voice shaking. I don't know what to say since I didn't think it throughout.

"Um- I-" I said. He cut me off and mumbled something I can't hear. "What?" I asked him, telling him to repeat what he was saying just now.

"Where's my apology?"

"Excuse me?" I look at him, puzzled. "I thought I said it yesterday. Did you not hear?"

"I heard." He answered, looking down at his feet as if his shoes are more attractive than his girlfriend that stands right in front of him. "I want my apology for not saying that you likes me." He rubbed his neck and look at me after he put his hands to the side.

"Huh?"

He raised his hand towards me. "My apology." He said as if he's asking for money. "I'm sorry for not saying that I like you?" I said between statement and question. He smile, showing that he's satisfied with my words. "Then what should you do after that?"

"Um- I- like you?" I said, unsure. Now his smile is wide. That moment I realised, I miss this side of him. "Same here." He said and slowly hug me in his arms. His hands is strong despite the slim arms he have. "I miss you, too." He said, he buried his face on my shoulder. Then I can feel tears on my shoulder. He's crying.

"I miss you, you stupid. Go Eunchae." His voice cracks. He's crying so much now. His arms trembling. "I'm scared. I was scared, you know." He said between cries. I patted him on the back and hug him back. "I'm sorry." I murmured.

Then, both of us are crying. I laughed, "Is this a crying session, idiot?" I asked. My tears escaped from my eyes down my cheeks. "I guess." He smile.

He pulled off and wipe my tears away. I pulled my sleeve and wipe his tears too. "Byun baekhyun."

"What?" He smile.

"I'm back."

"Oh my god! Why is there so much paperworks here? I'm suffocating." Tao complained but his hands are still moving fast like usual. "You can't complain, Tao. Just accept your fate." Kyungsoo said. His voice calm and he calmly did his works. "Don't worry, I'll spend you gucci." Kris said, as he checked through the papers that are done.

"Where are those two, anyway? Freeloading?" Sehun asked no one in particular. "That's mean. We didn't freeloading." I opened the door and fake an angry face at him. "Oh well, then get back to work--" He stopped when he saw Baekhyun after I came in.

"Uh, lovebirds is here." Tao said, but silently smiling. "What? I'm just holding her hand." He raised our hands into mid-air to show it to them like a proof. "What's wrong with it?" He pouted.

"He said he was cold." Kai said but still gluing his eyes on the paperwork in front of him. "And he lied." Kyungsoo continued. "Yes, you're right." I chuckled. "How can you side them, you meanie." He said to me. "Uh? It's the truth though." I laughed.

"Now who's gonna help me with all these paperwork? I can't do this all my own." He said matter-of-factly and smiled. "It's okay. I can help." I hold his cheeks and stare into his eyes. I couldn't help but laugh from cheesiness.

"Because I'm here." I showed him the silver ring on my finger at him.
