A Friendly Visit

"So let me get this straight Aragorn." Losider grinned at his friend mischievously.

"You and Melui are dating?"

"Well I wouldn't call it dating. I haven't seen her since the whole Legolas problem."

Aragorn sighed.

"And her father hates my guts."

"I'm sure he doesn't."

"He does."

"Well have you tried to get on his good side?"

"What do you mean?"

"Just, you know, talk to him."

Aragorn laughed.

"Are you kidding? Losider, it's Thranduil."

"And?"

"He's Thranduil."

"That's not a reason Aragorn."

"HE'S HARD TO DEAL WITH OK?"

Losider rolled his eyes.

"You do realize that if you plan on growing in your relationship with Melui than you have to have a good relationship with her family? You're already friends with Legolas but what about Phoenix and Thranduil? You have to get on their good sides."

"What do you know about this kind of stuff Losider?"

"Well, I watch a lot of romantic comedies."

Aragorn gave him a deadpan expression.

Losider grabbed his arm.

"Come on Aragorn. You love this girl right?"

"Yeah I guess."

"Then you have to fight for her!"

"But I'm not fighting anyone."

"You're fighting yourself."

"What?"

"Just stop talking! You're making this into a dialogue chapter!"

Aragorn got to his feet and followed Losider as they prepared to go to Mirkwood.

Aragorn packed, sent word to Legolas that he was coming to visit, Legolas immedietly asked if the reason he was coming was because of Melui.

Aragorn: Of course not!

Legolas: That's what it sounds like.

Aragorn: I just wanted to come hang out! Losider's coming.

Legolas: Great! We can both make fun of you together.

Aragorn: I thought you didn't want me going near your sister?

Legolas: That's only when my dad's not around. Since he'll be there I don't have to worry about it.

Aragorn: Great. Whatever. I'll see you in a couple of days.

Legolas: IWSYIATOMD

Aragorn: ?

Legolas: I Will See You In Approximately Twelve Or More Days

Aragorn: You could have just said, C U Ltr.

Legolas: LOL XD

Aragorn put his phone away and looked at Losider.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah. But why do I have to carry all of your stuff?"

"I'm already carrying the heavy burden of having to face Melui's father. I'm going to need all my strength."

Losider rolled his eyes.
Both friends left Minas Tirith and made their way to Mirkwood.

Luna listened in amusement to Melwin and Chole Ann's account of what had happened during their stay in Mirkwood.

The thought of Legolas lossing his mind was just...

Hilarious.

"Sounds like you two had a lot of fun."
Luna said.

"We did. Too bad it's over now."
Melwin sighed.
"I wish there was something we could do to have some fun."
Chole Ann agreed.

Luna thought.
There had to be something three bored elleths could do in Rivendell.

Meow!

"ThunderPuff! Get back here!"

ThunderPuff ran past the three elleths, his fluffy tail bobbing in the air as he went.

"ThunderPuff!"

Lindir ran up and tried to catch the kitten.

Both ran back and forth several times until it was just Lindir running back and forth.

ThunderPuff had settled himself onto Melwin's lap and watched his owner run back in forth in amusement.

"Um... Lindir?"

Melwin picked up the kitten.

"I found your cat."

Lindir skidded to a stop and grabbed his cat.

"Oh thank you so much! I don't know why he's been running away lately."

While Lindir snuggled and made baby talk to his kitten, ThunderPuff glared at Melwin with a look that said, Traitor.

Suddenly Luna had an idea.

"Hey Lindir? Do you wanna help us play a trick on Elrond?"

Lindir stopped cuddling ThunderPuff.

"What kind of trick?"

"Just a small harmless prank."

"Well... As long as it's nothing too big. Last time I helped pull a prank on Elrond I had to clean all the bathroom's for a month."

Chole Ann cast an awkward glance at Melwin.

"I promise no one will get in trouble. And if we get caught I'll take the blame."
Luna assured him.

"Alright. What are we doing?"

"Well, in order for the prank to work we're going to need ThunderPuff's help."

Everyone looked in confusion at the small kitten.

Who looked just as confused.

What do these crazy elves want me to do?

Alright people. I believe that I can wrap everything up in about ten chapters.
I am sad that this will be ending soon but I can't work on one thing forever now can I?
